Job Purpose
We are seeking a Quality Co-Ordinator to join the Service Centre team. You will be responsible for ensuring that products, system, and services meet the established standards and regulations by conduct inspections, test, and internal audits. Managing inspections at suppliers, coordinating visits with customers and 3rd party inspection parties. Using quality control document (QCP) to manage interventions inspections and ensuring the prescribed procedures and processes are followed as stipulated and agreed beforehand.
This position is mainly located in Alrode. Gauteng
In this position, you will report to the Repair Centre Manager.
TEAM YOU BELONG TO
You will join the Service Centre team and work closely with internal, external stakeholders, such as customers, 3rd party inspection authorities and other internal staff.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Travelling to suppliers to meet customers or 3rd party inspection parties for planned inspection/interventions
- Utilizing quality documents to manage and control the quality process of suppliers
- Ensuring the steps as set-out in QCP are followed and interested parties are involved as documented
- Managing and compiling final releases, review documentation as per Data book register
- Compiling Data book with relevant documentation for reference and archiving
- Using various equipment to measure, check dimensions and functionality
- Reference drawings and spec book for specifications to understand the requirements and standards
- Rejecting products that fail to meet quality standards and reporting any defects or discrepancies.
- Raising NCR’s and managing corrective action and close-out
- Conducting inspections, test, and internal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Identifying and reporting any non-compliance issues and recommend corrective measure
- Communicating inspection results and findings to Supervisor
- Conducting follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions
WHO YOU ARE
- Matric (Grade 12)
- A high school diploma or equivalent, or bachelor’s degree or four-year apprenticeship
- 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or related field
- Knowledge of safety and quality regulations and standard, such as ISO9000
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Experience using inspection tools, equipment, and software
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Ability to use inspection equipment in related field is an asset
- Certification in related field in an asset
- Microsoft office exposure, Excel and Word etc
