MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

• Degree / Diploma in Nursing Education
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Nurse Educator, Assessor and Moderator 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• Three years of working experience in a hospital or clinic.

 ADDED ADVANTAGES

• Strong knowledge and expertise in general nursing

• Correct use of Teaching and Learning as well as clinical Facilities/Technologies
• Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills
• Time Management
• Management of student diversity, e.g. education, culture, gender, etc.
• Ability to mentor and coach students 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Clinical teaching and assessment for undergraduate programs
• Participate in community engagement integrated with teaching and research
• Perform academic leadership and related administrative duties
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you by the HOD

• Operating standard audio-visual equipment: projectors, microphones, portable screens, media players, etc.
