    Murex Front Office BA

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and analyse business requirements into a solution design, managing user requirements workshops and formulation of an overall solution design, modelling transactions through the system to ensure that the business requirements are met.
    • Hands-on business analysis role to analyse and propose solutions for business issues, process changes and functional requirements.
    • Work with different IT teams across infrastructure, and other divisions to deliver system solutions for the business.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders on their priorities, needs as well as system improvements.
    • Build a strong relationship and manage expectations with users and stake holders.

    Skills
    Must have

    • Experience working in the financial industry with relevant experience in business analysis and project implementation.
    • Experience in managing and delivery of trading platforms for Treasury products on a global scale, integrated within the organizations treasury product systems.
    • Background in the following business areas:
    • Treasury Product knowledge - From Front-to-Back Office.
    • Murex configuration experience is needed
    • Understanding of front to back process flows
    • Experience in configuring pre-trades rules is mandatory
    • Knowledge on FX, Repos, MM, Structured products is a must

    Mandatory Requirements

    • Experience working with MUREX
    • Strong technical background
    • Strong understanding of treasury products and experience in front office projects.

    Murex Test Manager, Johannesburg

    Responsibilities
    The role is for a Senior Test Manager whcan work on client site and assist in the development at Murex clients.

    Profile description MX SH Testmanager (Senior Consultant)
    Project management

    • Project management of the stream "Test"
    • Planning, controlling and reporting in terms of effort, deadline, quality to the Project management
    • Tracking work progress, actively solving problems
    • Communication and coordination of common tasks with Murex

    Participation in the preparation and implementation of various test levels for several projects focusing on Murex (MX.3)
    Current or upcoming projects:

    • MX upgrade, disposition, migration of securities (preliminary study,
    • Initialization and start of the project)
    • Creation of test cases in cooperation with departments and IT
    • Coordination with IT for the provision and operation of the test infrastructure
    • Coordination of multi-system test environments
    • Coordination with other projects sharing of infrastructure
    • Coordination with configuration management (deployments)
    • Operational coordination and support of the test activities
    • Regular status meetings and reporting
    • Deviation management (ensuring) documentation of the test results
    • Obtaining the test acceptance in departments and IT

    Knowledge of requirements management

    Task-specific requirements:

    • Very good knowledge of test methods and procedures
    • Very good knowledge and operational experience with various test tools (e.g. HPQC, JIRA, SPIRA)
    • Relevant experience as a test manager (comparable projects in Capital market environment)
    • Good knowledge of money / capital markets (products and processes)
    • Experience with Murex (Mx 3.1) or Murex Limit Controller
    • Experience in test automation in the Murex environment (ONYX)
    • Experience in test environment management
    • Experience in the software development process

    General requirements:

    • Good analytical and conceptual skills
    • Strong communication skills, a high level of teamwork and resilience
    • Independence / independent work

    Nice to have

    • Experience with standard modeling techniques such as UML
    • If possible experience with accounting

    Murex Project Manager, Johannesburg

    Responsibilities

    • Manage IT project(s) for Murex/MLC; overseeing the design, build, test and implementation related activities
    • Manage IT Project teams throughout the project life cycle, including setting and controlling project parameters, producing detailed project plans, anticipating resource usage and availability, scheduling for optimum efficiency while maintaining project controls and managing team member contributions.
