Overview

• Mint Dental is seeking a reliable and professional Dental Assistant to support clinical procedures, maintain high standards of infection control, and assist with administrative duties when required. The ideal candidate should align with our practice values of efficiency, teamwork, ethical care, and a warm patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Cleaning, sterilisation, and organisation of instruments and clinical areas
• Stock control and ordering of dental materials and consumables
• Assisting with patient estimates, referrals, and treatment coordination
• Supporting appointment scheduling and administrative tasks
• Providing front desk support when required

Minimum Requirements

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dental Assistant
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail

Experience

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred but not essential
