    Clinical Lecturer PND1/PND2

    REQUIREMENTS :

    • A Diploma /Degree in Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent qualification registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse PLUS Post Basic qualification in Nursing Education registered with SANC. .
    • Grade 1: A minimum of four (4) years Appropriate/recognizable experience after registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council. 
    • Grade 2: A minimum of fourteen (14) years appropriate/recognizable experience after registration as a Professional Nurse with South African Nursing Council after obtaining the one (1) year post qualification. Current Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) 2024 PLUS Unendorsed valid Code EB driver’s licence Recommendations: Masters’ Degree in Nursing, Basic Computer Literacy

    Knowledge, Skills And Experience

    • Possess knowledge of relevant Legislation, Acts, Prescripts and Policy frameworks informing the area of operation. Knowledge of nursing education programmes and curriculum. Have in-depth knowledge of procedures and processes related to nursing and nursing education Possess sound knowledge and understanding of nursing code of ethics and professional practice Proficiency in teaching and assessment in Nursing Education including evaluation approaches.     • Implement assessment strategies to determine student nurses’ competencies. Implement the quality management system for the Nursing Education Institution. Implements the new nursing programmes in line with SANC and CHE regulations.

    Lecturer Grade 1 or 2

    REQUIREMENTS :

    • Senior Certificate/Grade 12 PLUS,A Diploma /Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse PLUS A post registration qualification in Nursing Education registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) PLUS Current Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) 2024 PLUS Unendorsed valid Code EB driver’s licence (code 08)

    Professional Nurse Grade 1-3 (General Stream)

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR POST

    • Senior Certificate/Matric or equivalent qualification
    • Basic R425 qualification (i.e. Degree/Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery) that allows for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse

    Professional Nurse with Midwifery

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST

    • Senior certificate/grade twelve certificate or equivalent qualification Diploma or Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery
    • Current registration with SANC as a general nurse and midwifery.
    • Grade 1:No Experience
    • Grade 2: A Minimum of ten (10) years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a professional nurse with the SANC in General Nursing.
    • Grade 3: A Minimum of twenty (20) years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a professional nurse with the SANC in General Nursing.
    • Proof of current registration with SANC (2024)

    Head Clinical Unit (Medical) Gr 1

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Senior Certificate or equivalent
    • MBCHB or Equivalent qualification PLUS
    • FC Paeds (SA) OR equivalent Plus
    • 5 years’ experience working as a Paediatric Infectious Diseases sub-specialist preferably at a tertiary, academic site post registration

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENT FOR THE POST:
