    Medical Specialist Grade 1 - 3: Obstetric & Gynaecology REF NO: MPDOH/AUG/26/1221

    SALARY : Grade 1: R1 395 528 - R1 479 723 per annum
    Grade 2: R1 592 274 - R1 688 553 per annum
    Grade 3: R1 844 151 - R2 301 186 per annum

    CENTRE : Nkangala District: Witbank Hospital
    REQUIREMENTS :

    Appropriate qualifications that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Anesthesiology (2026). A valid work permit will be required from non-South Africans. Sound knowledge of medical ethics. Multidisciplinary management and teamwork and experience in the respective medical discipline. Knowledge of current Health and Public Service regulations and policies. Skills in terms of consultations, history taking, examination, clinical assessment and clinical management.

    • Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Specialist (Independent Practice). Minimum of one 1-year relevant experience after registration with a recognized Foreign Professions and / or the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist (Anesthesiology) for foreign qualified employees.
    • Grade: 2: A minimum of five (5) years’ experience after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Specialist (Independent Practice). A minimum of six (6) years’ relevant experience after registration with a recognized foreign health profession council and / or the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist (Anesthesiology) for qualified foreign employees.
    • Grade 3: A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Specialist (Independent Practice). Minimum of eleven (11) years’ relevant experience after registration with a recognized foreign health profession council and / or the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist (Anesthesiology) for qualified foreign employees.
    • Knowledge, skills, Training and Competences required. Sound knowledge of medical ethics. Multidisciplinary management and teamwork and experience in the respective medical discipline. Sound clinical knowledge. Competency and skills in general clinical domains. The ability to work independently and under pressure and beyond normal working hours and work with diverse team. Good communication, leadership, interpersonal, and engage when necessary. Knowledge of current health policies, legislation, programs and priorities within the domain. Ability to teach and guide junior staff within the department.

    DUTIES :

    • Supervising the management of and managing Anesthesiology and coordinate services. To execute duties and functions with proficiency, to support the aims and objectives of the institution that consistent with standards of patient care. Accept responsibility for the management of patients admitted in a level 2/3 package of service facility. Assist in the preparation and implementation of guidelines and protocols. Participate in academic and training programs. Assist with clinical audits actively participate in continuous professional development. Provide support to hospital management towards an efficient standard of patient care and services maintained.     Operational Manager Nursing (PN-B3): PHC REF NO: MPDOH/AUG/26/1222

    REQUIREMENTS :

    • Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification plus Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council in Terms of Government Notice 425, (i.e. Diploma / Degree in Nursing) that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse (2026) plus a post basic nursing qualification, with duration of at least 1 year, accredited with the SANC in terms of Government Notice No R212 in Primary Health Care. A minimum of nine (09) years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with South African Nursing Council (SANC) in General Nursing. At least five (05) years of period referred to above must be appropriate/recognizable in the specific specialty after obtaining the one (01) year post basic qualification in Primary Health Care Nursing Science. A post basic qualification in Nursing Administration/Health service management. Experience and knowledge of the District Health System.     Assistant Director :Revenue Management

    REQUIREMENTS :

    • Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus Diploma / Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Accounting, Financial Management, Public Finance, Cost and Management Accounting, Commerce as recognized by SAQA. A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in Revenue Management, Patient Administration, Financial Management at supervisory / management (Level 7/8).     • Manage and coordinate all revenue management functions within the institution. Monitor patient registration, classification and billing processes to ensure accurate revenue generation. Ensure timely collection of outstanding revenue from patients, medical schemes, Road Accident Fund (RAF) and other debtors. Monitor debtor age analysis and implement debt collection strategies to improve revenue collection. Ensure correct application of the Uniform Patient Fee Schedule (UPFS) and relevant billing policies. Monitor and improve dataquality relating to patient administration and billing. Supervise and develop Revenue Management personnel. Coordinate revenue enhancement initiatives and identify opportunities to increase revenue collection. Conduct regular revenue audits and implement corrective measures. Investigate revenue leakages, billing discrepancies and fraud risks. Compile monthly, quarterly and annual revenue reports. Monitor compliance with PFMA, Treasury Regulations and departmental policies.     REQUIREMENTS :

    • Appropriate Trade Test Certificate plus five (5) post qualification experience as an Artisan either in the following: carpentry / bricklaying / painting / plumbing / mechanical and electrical.
