Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in product planning is essential. 
• Proficiency in the latest Google Suite (Slides, Docs & Sheets) or Microsoft packages (Word & Advanced Excel) is an essential requirement.
• A relevant business qualification would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the retail merchandise cycle with regards to Buying, planning, logistics and stores.
• Familiarity with a merchandise planning system such as JDA Enterprise planning would be highly beneficial.
• A strong logical thinking and analytical ability with excellent numerical skills and the ability to be accurate and pay attention to detail.
• Has a high energy level and is performance-driven and deadline-orientated.
• Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.
• Ability to remain flexible, function under pressure and maintain a positive attitude and work performance in a variety of circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and implementing merchandise business plans in support of the company strategy.
• Re-forecast seasonal sales based on previous performance in order to maximize profitability.
• Manage RPL availability and maintain line plans.
• Providing accurate and timeous merchandise information to minimize risk and optimize business opportunity.
• Preparing and delivering merchandise assortment plans.
• Range building in line with the departmental business plan.

Qualifications

• A secretarial/office administration diploma or equivalent qualification.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing and operating a busy switchboard in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in the latest Google Suite packages or Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written language skills in English. The ability to converse in a second official language would be an advantage.
• Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills with the ability to handle calls professionally and courteously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a pleasant, friendly demeanor, capable of building rapport with visitors and colleagues.
• A strong service orientation and exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming calls via the switchboard and direct them to the relevant departments or individuals.
• Greet and assist visitors with professionalism, ensuring a pleasant and positive first impression.
• Maintain the reception area to ensure it remains neat, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
• Schedule appointments and meetings and coordinate room bookings for employees and clients.
• Ensure the smooth running of daily administrative tasks, including sorting mail, handling deliveries, and managing office supplies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, visitors, and clients.
• Monitor and ensure the functionality of office equipment (e.g., phones, printers).
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.

• 3 - 5 Years retail experience in product technology, specifically within the apparel industry
• Previous experience in Menswear apparel will be an advantage
• In-depth understanding of grading and specification development 
• Computer literate in Google suite
