    Email Marketing Executive - Based in Claremont WC

    Requirements

    • Creation of compelling and engaging email content for marketing campaigns that adhere to email marketing best practices.
    • Writing compelling and engaging marketing messages for the products and services as set out in the schedule.
    • Support the Marketing Managers in designing and crafting engaging email content for both internal and external campaigns.
    • Working alongside the email marketing team to Issue email marketing campaigns, working to schedules as set out in each business’s plans.
    • Image editing where necessary for use within email campaigns.
    • Performing analysis of campaigns to improve future email content.
    • Use of A/B Testing to revise email marketing campaigns based on performance indicators.
    • Proofreading and testing all outgoing campaigns to ensure that they are of the highest standards.
    • Working with the PR and Communications Manager to ensure branding guidelines are followed and consistent across campaigns for all businesses.
    • Ensure emails follow best practice in content, layout, tracking and formatting.

    SKILLS and COMPETENCIES

    • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
    • Self-motivated and able to work individually and as part of a team both creatively and professionally
    • A genuine passion for digital marketing, technology and user experience
    • Knowledge of design software including Photoshop (preferable)
    • The ability to work successfully in a team, supporting remote colleagues with campaigns
    • Confidence pitching ideas or giving feedback to senior colleagues and peers based on your knowledge and expertise and work in a collaborative manner
    • Knowledge of GDPR best practices
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • The ability to work with own initiative and to work to deadlines
    • Excellent organisation skills
    • Ability to think outside the box and bring new and innovative ideas to the table 
    • Willingness to learn and try new things to develop campaigns and personal development

    QUALIFICATIONS and  EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field/ equivalent qualification
    • A background in Marketing preferable, and ideally, educated to degree level
    • Experience writing effective copy or optimising copy to create compelling campaigns
    • A keen eye for design and great attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Understanding of HTML and CSS is beneficial
    • Intermediate skills in Google Office / MS Office Suite or equivalent
    • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

    Indoor Sales Consultant - Cape Town WC

    • Provide accurate and comprehensive information to prospective and existing customers and ensure accurate and rapid feedback is provided to the customer
    • Ensure that accurate notes are logged for every interaction with a client on the relevant and appropriate system and trackers
    • Regularly follow up on appointments, issues, leads, enquiries and quotes progress and communicate the status of this to the team, branch and customer if necessary.
    • Promote goods and services by telephone or electronic mail and working form lists of contacts or self generated opportunities
    • Create interest in goods and services, and seek a sale or agreement from the customer
    • Follow up with sales consultants on the status of prospects and leads and communicate and report on these to the team and the business
    • Arrange, process and despatch goods, services, information kits and brochures to customers
    • Arrange appointments for sales representatives and book these in their Google Calendars
    • Recording notes for follow-up action and updating marketing databases to reflect changes to the status of each customer

    • Work alongside the support and operations team to ensure that all new and existing customers are set up, managed and serviced effectively.
    • Support the implementation of tactical sales plans in line with the company's and regions sales strategy for retention and sales
    • Keep up to date with competitor activity and report and escalate these to management.
    • Identify and qualify opportunities to sell new products or services and communicate these to the salesperson where appropriate.
    • Use the sales tools in line with the agreed sales process to maintain and develop pipeline and customer information.
    • Attend team meetings and contribute as necessary on own individual performance by being prepared for manager review meetings and sales activity reporting
    • Drive and support the activity and productivity of field sales colleagues by assisting to manage time effectively by ensuring their diary is maximised, up to date and accurate at all times.
    • AR review and follow up with clients to ensure payment received, populating SC calendar to review AR disputes
