    Stock Controller (IT)

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

    CONTROL IT STOCKROOM

    • Maintain cleanliness and order in the store.
    • Receipt of new equipment.
    • Check received stock against invoices/ waybills.
    • Assetising of new equipment and placement in store.
    • Putting together of equipment as requested by technician.
    • Sign out and scan out of equipment.
    • Receipt of returned equipment.
    • Place working equipment back in store.
    • Scrap old and redundant equipment by removing asset sticker and placing in scrap store.
    • Investigate & declare variances and take corrective action.
    • Compare tick vs book.
    • Update movement list with daily equipment received or booked out.
    • Do periodic store audits.
    • Keep record of stock levels.
    • Log calls for purchase when minimum stock levels have been reached.
    • Check tools of technicians.
    • Conduct follows- ups and ensure customer satisfaction.

    POST CONTROL STOCK CONTROL

    • Preparing of equipment for post cars. Log calls for prepping of equipment, if necessary.
    • Scan out, filling in redeploy, arrange for signing of documents and sending of post car equipment.
    • Follow up that equipment sent, with post cars, have been received.
    • Follow up that old and faulty equipment has been received back, before call is closed.
    • Conduct follow-ups and ensure customer satisfaction.

    PROVIDE AD HOC SUPPORT

    • Conduct DSS Support.
    • Assistance in department with new projects.
    • Conduct incident investigations.

    Requirements

    • National Senior Certificate; A+
    • At least 1-year relevant experience in an IT environment
