Key Responsibility Area 

• Lead the design and development of new features for the software systems, and improvement of existing ones. 
• Implementation, debugging, documentation and release of the software solutions in a DevOps Environment. 
• Provide maintenance, enhancement and support of the existing DevOps Platform. 
• Perform software systems coding assignments 
• Supervision of the DevOps Engineering development team.  

Qualifications and Experience 

Minimum: 

• 3-year National Higher Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field. 
• Added Advantage: Linux Certification  Docker Certification  Kubernetes

Experience:

• 6 - 7 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), including solution development, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation.
• Minimum 3 years’ extensive DevOps experience: Utilise DevOps tools/technologies to establish automated CI/CD pipelines lifecycle for .Net and Java related solutions  Designing and implementing Docker, DockerHub and Kubernetes DevOps solutions in a Cloud Infrastructure environment  GitLab  Windows Operating System  Linux Operating System  Design and implement monitoring reporting in a DevOps Environment  Understand HTTP(S), SSL certificates, Firewalls, Docker Networking, Docker Volumes/Binds, Environment Variables and VPNs  Experience in the Python 3 programming language.
• The experience must include xperience in solution analysis, design, and development for the development, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of systems within the corporate/public sector, including: Successfully developed and implemented applications using a DevOps Practice, underpinning Agile methodologies. Software development team leadership competency Software development deliverable effort planning, estimations and execution management Developed efficient and effective IT solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
• Extensive experience with working on multiple tasks and report status. Experience in interacting with customers.

• Provide Business Advisory Services. Oversee and Provide Functional Application Support service. 
• Implement functional system enhancements / changes in accordance with client request.

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: 3- Year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in ICT/Audit/LAW 
• Experience: 5-6 years’ experience/exposure in ICT services/industry, Exposure to the work of the Central Firearms Registry, Firearms Control Act and its regulations, Knowledge of the South African Police Services firearms systems.

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Provide first and second level LAN & desktop support. Install and configure new IT equipment. Implementation, customisation and maintenance of the remote software deployment. Provide support to the enterprise’s local IT and software resources. Provide LAN & desktop advisory services to clients.  

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: Grade 12 PLUS National Higher Certificate in IT (NQF Level 5) with A+/N+ either as a subject of the Certificate OR as a separate certification (expiry irrelevant). 
• Experience: At least one-year corporate experience in the Service Management / End User Support Environment, OR Call Centre Agent experience with 1 – 2 years relevant experience in the End User Computing services and related LAN Infrastructures Services. Maintenance and support service of the End User Computing Services relating to all LAN Infrastructure Services such as servers, desktops, LAN cabling, switches and other LAN peripherals. Maintenance and support to ensure the availability of the services according to prescribed procedures, policies, standards and SLA’s. Ensure the resolution of hardware and software service requests, incidents and problem within End User Computing and all related LAN infrastructure.

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Process and re-assign purchase requisitions 
• Verification and validation of supporting documents to the process relating to the creation of purchase orders 
• Creation of Purchase Orders 
• Monitor compliance to regulations, and any instructions issued by National Treasury from time to time 
• Facilitate the expediting of purchase orders 

 Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: Grade 12 PLUS 1 - 2-year National Higher Certificate in Business Management/ Logistics and/ or Commercial law or any qualification in the relevant discipline equivalent to NQF level 5. 
• Experience: 2-3 years’ experience within the Supply Chain Management and Procurement environment. ICT procurement experience will be an advantage Experience in Public Sector Procurement would be an added advantage, with exposure to the following: Public Finance Management Act Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Codes and Regulations Treasury Regulation.

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Perform system testing and installations to evaluate whether ICT products meet the minimum requirements as specified by the client (Internal customer). 
• Assist with the support of the lab infrastructure to enable the unit to deliver on its functions. (Internal business process). 
• Assist with Lab administration during the absence of the lab coordinator thus ensuring continued service delivery to the clients (Internal business process). 
• Report any technical laboratory issues to the technical specialist thereby reducing the time required to resolve those issues resolved (Internal business processes). 
• Support SITA research initiatives in developing proofs of concepts and pilots for research projects by ensuring they have access to the lab infrastructure. (Internal customer). 
• Attend relevant conferences, exhibitions, road shows and regular training to increase a variety of knowledge and skills. (Learning and growth). 

 Qualifications and Experience 

• Required Qualification: 1 - 2-year National Certificate in a relevant discipline / NQF level 5 or accredited specialised courses. A+, N+ certifications are required. 
• Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in the ICT field, including maintenance /enhancements of integrated solutions across multiple hardware and software platforms, including experience in hardware technical support, experience in network administration and support, experience in equipment testing and lab experience.
