Purpose of the job

• To develop, lead, sustain and to provide Network architecture solution designs and implementation to meet identified business needs, and the management of technical support environment to ensure services are delivered to clients as per the SLA and Quality.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Develop network design as per client request
• Implement network design in order to ensure technical performance, availability and stability
• Provide inputs in the Network Architecture and Customer Solutions governance with regards to the implementation of solutions
• Develop, implement and manage the Design and Planning Organisation to deliver on the business goals of SITA and ensure sustainability in service delivery from technology architecture and design perspective
• Adhere to performance management policy to ensure optimum performance output to enhance service delivery
• Responsible for handling queries of team members in relation to ERP (HR, OTL, I expense)

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: 3 year National Diploma/ Degree in IT related field (Computer Science, Information Technology/Engineering or CCNA – NQF Level 6)
• Experience : 3-5 years experience in the provision of ICT solutions, specifically within Network Architecture and Customer Solutions environment.

Purpose of the job

• To lead the design, implementation, debugging, documentation, release and maintenance of software-based solutions, write code and enhance software/systems in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government.

Key Responsibility Area

• Lead the design and development of new features for the software systems, and improvement of the existing ones.
• Implementation, debugging, documentation and release of the software solutions.
• Provide maintenance and enhancement support of the existing systems.
• Perform software systems coding assignments.
• Supervision of the Software development team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: 3-year National Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field.
• Experience: 6 - 7 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), including solution development, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation. The experience must include.Good solid programming Skills and understanding of the Java language, Eclipse IDE, Spring MVC framework and Oracle database is essential and required. Extensive experience with working on multiple tasks and report status. Experience in interacting with customers.

Technical Competencies Description

• Understanding of user requirement process Knowledge of Java development process and its technologies computer science including algorithms, data structures, operating systems and databases. Knowledge to design and develop test plans and software simulator to facilitate different levels of testing. Knowledge to report the results of different levels of testing report, the discrepancies between the software and its related documents. Development methodologies (e.g. RUP, OpenUp, Agile), SDLC COTS (Commercial of the Shelf) Products Security (Software and Technologies). Comprehensive knowledge of software testing techniques and tools Comprehensive knowledge and experience with one or more of the major database systems Oracle.Comprehensive Team-working experience.

Purpose of the job

• The role will be responsible to execute complex application development, maintenance projects and services and provide innovative solutions and products that resolve challenges of government service delivery. The Advance Software Developer will be responsible for guiding and executing the design, development, and execution of complex services and projects of ICT solutions.

Key Responsibility Area

• Lead the development of functional requirements that articulate clear and concise project deliverables that are compatible with user expectations.
• Deliver feasibility and cost-benefit analysis, including choice of application architecture to enhance the overall application development process.
• Lead and execute complex software development and customization projects spanning multiple environments to ensure that it is successfully delivered.
• Lead and develop/ customize complex applications services solutions by studying information needs; consulting with clients, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle using SITAs software development stack/ development framework.
• Lead and execute maintenance of integrated IT software components using SITAs software development stack/ development framework.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: 3 – 4 Year National Higher Diploma / National Degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant qualification equivalent to NQF Level 6.
• Certification: Vendor certification for Java will be an added advantage.
• Experience: 7 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), including solution development, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation. The experience must include. Good solid programming Skills and understanding of the Java language, Eclipse IDE, Spring MVC framework and Oracle database is essential and required.

Purpose of the job

• Provision of CA Datacom Database services, support, install, maintain and administer database management system, and proactive monitoring of Database Management Systems and related products.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Assists with Datacom DBMS Administration.
• Proactive monitoring.
• Assists with Infrastructure Preparation
• Assists with Infrastructure Administration.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: 1 - 2 years National Higher Certificate in a relevant Information Technology discipline / NQF level 5 or accredited specialised courses.
• Added Advantage: - Relevant database certification, e.g. CA Datacom Certified Database Administrator, Technical Datacom DB/DC, z/OS and IBM CICS courses, etc.
• Experience: 2 - 3 years practical work experience of Datacom database administration on mainframe z/OS platform, working experience in the information technology Hostings Datacom environment space.

• Datacom DB/DC, Datacom DBMS Administration, z/OS basic knowledge, and other software tools, Performance and Tuning, Database Change Management.
