    Manager Technical Business Liaison

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • The Manager: Technical Business Liaison acts as a critical bridge between business functional areas (e.g., CSOC, service management, engineering, project management) and technical/data teams (OSS, Data, ServiceNow).
    • This role is responsible for gathering requirements and delivering operational and performance analytics solutions to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and performance metrics.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • 3-year Degree/National Diploma in Business Admin, Economics, Strategic Management, Engineering or IT
    • 8+ years relevant experience
    • ITIL Certification (advantageous)

    Senior Specialist: IFRS & Governance

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • Ensure compliance in terms of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), statutory, SOX and Companies Act compliance, Group policies, monitor of internal and external control.
    • The role will require strong IFRS technical expertise, IFRS reporting, statutory accounts preparation, strong stakeholder management skills.
    • The ideal candidate will also possess excellent analytical and operation capabilities, strong financial skills and be able to critically evaluate transactions for IFRS and statutory reporting, and has the proven ability to convey complex assessments in IFRS clearly to management and other members of the business.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    IFRS:

    • Implementation of new and amended IFRS standards and interpretations as issued by the IASB on a regular basis based on the effective date as well as the implementation date per Vodafone
    • Implementation and monitoring of all IFRS requirements as issued each quarter through the Vodafone Group Plc Financial Reporting and Governance Manual (VGIAP)
    • IFRS support/guidance to finance operations within VSA and Vodacom non-core financial teams as well as the international business where requested
    • Completion of IFRS accounting memorandums for agreements and significant transactions with review depending on materiality to management, VF Group IFRS and auditors
    • Annual financial statements per IFRS disclosure requirements with no material misstatement

    Month end reporting:

    • Address and support all IFRS accounting issues raised during the month end reporting process
    • Supervision and coordination of balance sheet and sub-ledger reconciliations and reporting thereof 

    Interim and year end reporting:

    • Interim and year end statutory reporting submission, certification compliance to Vodacom Group and VF, external audit process.

    • Completion of annual financial statements, review with management and audit with auditors with no material misstatements.

    Talent and Performance Specialist

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • Under the direction of Talent and Performance Lead, this role is ultimately responsible to drive high performance culture and shift the talent mindset in the organisation with the ability to mine data for drive business decisions.

    Specialist: Marketing

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • To deliver and execute on the segments marketing plan, across the various business units in the region. To drive operational initiatives within the region to drive market growth through data-driven insights and competitor analysis, in order to shape innovative campaigns and enhance brand positioning.
