    Director Service Line Management - Mill Liners

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership & Organizational Management

    • Develop and execute a global strategy for milling consumables.
    • Identify market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
    • Oversee P&L, budgeting, and resource allocation for the global product line.
    • Lead a global matrix team to foster collaboration across Sales areas and functions
    • Mentor talent, drive performance management, and build succession pipelines.

    Product & Innovation

    • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle.
    • Work closely with R&D to prioritize investments aligned with customer needs.
    • Champion innovation in materials science, digital solutions and sustainability.

    Commercial Excellence

    • Drive with Sales to develop pricing strategies, value propositions, and key account plans.
    • Enable technical teams to support complex customer solutions

    Operational & Quality Governance

    • Ensure manufacturing standards (quality, cost, delivery) are met with Operations teams.
    • Drive continuous improvement in product design, sourcing, and supply chain resilience.
    • Mitigate risks (raw material volatility, geopolitical disruptions).

    Leadership Experience Required

    • 10–15+ years in industrial/consumables sectors (mining, cement, heavy equipment). Experience in mill lining / milling consumables is a must
    • Proven global leadership: Managed teams across ≥3 regions; navigated matrix structures.
    • P&L ownership: Experience managing portfolios >xxM revenue.
    • Technical background: Engineering or materials science exposure (e.g., metallurgy, tribology).
    • Product management: Launched and scaled consumable products globally.
    • Business Development / M&A : Successful implementation of business development activities including inorganic growth

    Education

    • Mandatory: Bachelor’s in Engineering (Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical) or Business.
    • Preferred: MBA or advanced technical degree.

    Proposal and Application Specialist Milling Consumables

    Purpose of the role

    • The Proposal and Applications Specialist will be responsible for Milling Consumable Service Line within the region, to drive the commercial success of our product offerings by developing compelling value propositions, reviewing product selections, and supporting regional proposal resources to ensure alignment with sales strategies. Key responsibilities also include management and execution of key opportunity proposals (CRM) through strong internal customer support, promotion of the growth strategy and application of product knowledge.

    Your responsibilities

    • Develops costing and proposals for EMEA and APAC regions
    • Value Proposition Development: Craft and articulate the unique value of our products and services to meet customer needs and differentiate from competitors.
    • Product Selection Review: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure product offerings align with customer requirements and commercial objectives.
    • Proposal Resource Support: Provide guidance and support to proposal resources, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and timely proposal submissions.
    • Commercial Analysis: Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and product development.
    • Support global engineering efforts in product standardization, production methods, and materials.
    •  Applies designs using technical knowledge and experience, and establishing design criteria to the Company’s standards
    • Ensure designs deliver effective reliable products that can be viably and cost-effectively manufactured.
    • Enhance market knowledge related to assigned product portfolio through interactions with colleagues, suppliers, clients, and branch networks.
    • Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.

    What you bring

    • Proven experience in commercial sales, marketing, or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of sales strategies, market analysis, and customer relationship management.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and lead by influence
    • Capable to communicate complex concepts to customers in simple terms
    • From time to time, able to travel, domestic and international
    • College degree or equivalent experience. 
    • Minimum 10 years of experience within the mining/industrial industry. 
    • Minimum 5 years of experience with mining consumable products. 
    • Mechanical Background, able to read and understand Mechanical drawings
    • Previous experience with mill liners is preferred
    • Proficient with Solid works and Enovia
    • Proficient with engineering design tools
    • Proficient in engineering fundamentals
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with core discipline design teams achieve a working solution to problems.
    • May work on proposals, orders, standization, product improvement efforts of Mill liners.
    • Prepare, relieves and approves 3D designs
    • Reviews customer specifications
    • Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.

    Comminution Solutions Manager

    Role Purpose: 

    • Product Lines The purpose of the Integrated Technical Solutions (ITS) group is to assist sales to increase FLS scope of supply by bridging the gap between customer inquiry and the RFQ. This group engages with the sales group efforts within Key Large Greenfield and Brownfield projects, reviewing the opportunity and bringing in high level technical review of metallurgical testing, flowsheet design, and equipment selection to look for opportunities to engage on refining the flowsheet, through a combination of testwork, process design and basic engineering, and consultation on alternate equipment selection.  
    • Effective Early Engagement: Lead effective early engagement with customers, EPCs, sub-suppliers, laboratories and consultants to ensure strong FLS influence on flowsheet design, equipment sizing and selection, scope and requirements identification. Manage relationships with innovation groups in our key accounts. 
    • Prioritization and Screening Process: Screening process of projects together with Sales team and PLM`s  to ensure effective selection of projects to follow and proper allocation of functional resources.
    • Process Audits: High level process audits (not paid studies) to increase brownfield projects opportunities pipeline through geographical expansion of process optimization capabilities and process experts' on-site presence.
    • Testing programs: Together with MTRC and Global Labs implement a proactive approach through development of lab and pilot testing for complex projects & integrated solutions. Offer the best technological solutions and prove benefits of FLS’ existing and innovative technologies. Implement proactive approach for capital sales growth in line with GPLM strategy.
    • Collaborate with the Regions: Active technical support to regional capital sales for Key Large Greenfield and Brownfield projects providing technical knowledge and expertise developing flowsheets and presenting technical solutions to the customers.
    • Proposal Support: Effective technical support to Global Proposal Team (GPT) for Key Large Greenfield and Brownfield projects to ensure FLS winning position.
