    Multiskill Operator (Limpopo)

    Description
    PURPOSE

    • Assist operations where an operator is needed to make the operating environment safer and more convenient by opening trenches and cleaning up areas where other equipment has difficulty operating.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operations & Maintenance
    • Operation of a variety of machines.
    • Load, dig, clean trenches or ditch slimes dam.
    • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) is followed at all times.
    • General Housekeeping.
    • Inspection of the machine before & after the shift.
    • Complete inspection checklist.
    • Adhere to safety rules & procedures.

    Requirements
    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12.
    • MQA Accredited certificates (Grader, ADT, Excavator & FEL).
    • Code 10 driver’s license.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 4 years operating experience in a tailings or similar environment.

    Operations Supervisor (Limpopo)

    Description
    PURPOSE

    • An exciting opportunity exists to ensure that several tasks are carried out on site to safety, environment and productivity, and to assist management with the efficient and effective running of the site.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Business / Functional Management
    • Execute operational and technical duties in line with organisational directives, as provided.
    • Support implementation of business initiatives as directed.
    • Financial, Commercial and Contracts Management
    • Work with materials and equipment in a cost-effective way, as per standard operating procedures and practice notes as directed.
    • Ensure full compliance to material usage requirements in executing duties.
    • Risk Management and Compliance, Including Environmental and Social Governance
    • (ESG) Responsibility
    • Execute all duties in strict compliance to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) policies, procedures and legislation, to ensure the company's responsibility is met.

    • SHEQ Management
    • Check sums are right on plan drawings and quantities and that all materials and work are to the specifications.
    • Record the condition of plant arriving on site on a form with photographs.
    • People Management
    • Lead and manage team.
    • Support, guide and coach team.

    • Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement for the duration of the project.
    • Align with client culture requirements as directed by management.

    Requirements
    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Degree in Civil Engineering / B Tech in Civil Engineering.

    EXPERIENCE

    • At least one to two year’s tailings deposition experience working in a mining / tailing's environment or construction environment.

    Shift Supervisor (Middelburg)

    Description
    PURPOSE

    • This role is responsible for the entire operation of the plant on a shift basis

    Requirements

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Safety, Health and Environment
    • Conduct pre-shift meetings.
    • Adhere to FAMP and client policies and procedures
    • Always behave safe.
    • Prevent spillages that can negatively influence the environment.
