    Bookkeeper / Accountant (Rentals)

    To qualify for this position, you need:

    • Diploma / degree in finance
    • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
    • Experience with rentals
    • Experience with PayProp
    • Great administrative skills

    The purpose and performance required from this position is:

    • Manage up to 1500 properties monthly payments
    • Attend to all rental assist payments for your allocated developments.
    • Obtain monthly levy accounts and load onto PayProp for payment.
    • Obtain monthly rates accounts and load onto PayProp for payment.
    • Obtain all water, refuse, sewerage accounts and invoice the tenant.
    • Load all maintenance invoices on PayProp.
    • Invoice any tenant penalties issued by the Body Corporate.
    • Determine what accounts are being paid for the landlord. Have those accounts redirected to IGrow and ensure the correct amounts are paid every month.
    • Send monthly statements to Landlord.
    • Send monthly statements and invoices to tenants.
    • Attend to monthly reconciliation of rental payments on allocated portfolio.
    • Attend to the monthly account payments for Investor.
    • Attend to and finalize all deposit refunds.
    • Deal with all client queries relating to the tenant and/or investor account.
    • Attend to deposit refund payments within 14 days.
    • Load deposit processing fee on deposit refunds.
    • Follow up on tenants in arrears as per strict process LOD on the 4th of every month.
    • Investors to be kept updated on late payments at all times.
    • Have an action plan in place to collect arrears.
    • Eviction instructions to be handed to attorney’s obo owner if requested.
    • Download contracts expiring from PayProp according to 40/80 rule, negotiate renewals
    • accordingly to ensure all invoices have been loaded.
    • When warning letters are received by Body Corporate, send to tenant, and keep track that it is
    • followed up on.
    • Attend to problems with water and electricity accounts.

    Property Investment Strategist

    To qualify for this position, you need: 

    • Relevant diploma/degree (financial qualification advantageous)
    • Minimum 2 years of property sales experience or in a financial advisory role
    • Fluent in English
    • Reliable transport during working hours
    • Home-office setup with a stable internet connection
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Computer literate (Excel, Word, G Suite, Zoom)
    • Telephone etiquette
    • Knowledge on Trust entity and company structures

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Scheduling and confirming consultations with clients
    • Work directly with Booking Agents as well as our team of inhouse IGrow experts including Chartered Accountants, Tax Specialists, Trust Attorney, Rental Managers, Homeloan Specialists etc.
    • Consult with primary buyers and investors to help them grow their property portfolio.
    • Sell investment property to first time and seasoned investors
    • Provide excellent customer service to clients.
    • Maintaining close client relationships
    • Log all activities pertaining to dealings with clients on our world-class CRM system
    • Updating sales spreadsheets and other admin-related duties
    • Preparing contracts, mandates FICA documentation and liaising with clients for signatures if required.
    • Promoting all other services provided by the IGrow Group.
    • Arrange and facilitate show house viewings when required.
    • Complete the IGrow Academy and become a certified Investment Strategist

    Accountant

    To qualify for this position you need:

    • Professional Accountant (SA) / AGA(SA) / SAICA registered.
    • Minimum 1 years post articles experience within a management/supervisory position.
    • Knowledge of relevant computer programs such as Caseware, Xero, Payroll packages and Microsoft Excel.
    • Experience managing a team and client engagements.
    • Bilingual in English / Afrikaans.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

    • Review of work performed by Trainees, including accounting processing, Annual Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, Provisional tax calculations, VAT and EMP recons and submissions.
    • Raising adequate review queries on work performed by Trainees to promote a learning environment.
    • Manage client portfolios and maintain sound client relationships.
    • Personal income tax calculations and submissions.
    • Leading team meetings and team training sessions on occasion.
    • Providing IGrow investors with guidance, by implementing trusts as well as corporate and commercial structures, to optimize tax benefits, wealth creation and risk mitigation.
    • Supervising timely submission of all deliverables.
    • SARS appointments and queries.
    • Any other output that may be reasonably required from this role.

    Assistant Financial Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Assistant Group Financial Manager will support the Group Financial Manager in overseeing the financial operations of the company and its subsidiaries. The role includes assisting in budgeting, financial reporting, auditing, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent organizational skills, and experience in corporate financial management.

    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable).

    FIC Compliance Officer

    To qualify for this position, you need:

    • Matric
    • Knowledge of FICA
    • Experience in Audits

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Identifying and reporting of any suspicious transactions to the FIC promptly and efficiently. Ensure the company’s reporting procedures are effective and compliant with FICA requirements
