    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    • Involved in teaching and learning (undergraduate and post-graduate programmes); research that fits into the faculty’s focus areas; providing leadership and fostering excellence in research; post-graduate supervision (where applicable); community service and tasks related to all above activities.
    • Expected to exercise responsibility for professional activities in the academic disciplines within the faculty.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Teaching undergraduate modules

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    • Senior Lecturer position in Subject Group: Creative Writing in the School of Languages (PC).
    • The incumbent will be expected to teach undergraduate and post-graduate modules in Creative Writing Programmes offered at NWU as well as participate in research and community engagement activities as expected of every senior lecturer at the University.

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    • The Laboratory Compliance Officer, working under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, is responsible for developing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and improving the laboratory’s quality management system (QMS) in accordance with ISO 17025 and other relevant accreditation standards.

    • Ensure all laboratory processes and procedures comply with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of the management system and recommend necessary improvements.
