    Financial Administrator (Western Cape)

    Description
    Purpose of the job

    • Provides support to the Financial Controller by doing payments and reconciliations of general ledger accounts and bank accounts related to payroll transactions. These include weekly wages, tax, pension, medical aid, expense refunds etc. Liaises with Finance and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timeous transactions and proper record keeping. Allocate pro-rata expenses to the department for cost accounting purposes. Prepares periodic reports and information for internal and external audits or other use. Compiles contribution schedules and sends payment confirmations to providers. Handle queries related to the above. Responsible for EFT’s on daily, weekly and monthly basis. The role is for SA and BLNE countries.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Daily, weekly and annual salary-related payments are prepared, processed and reconciled 
    • Queries are effectively managed

    Requirements

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • Grade 12 (with accounting) 
    • 1 – 2 Years finance or payroll experience 
    • Accounting knowledge is required 
    • PC Literacy: MS Office/G-Suite (with advanced Excel/Sheets) 
    • Knowledge of payroll systems 
    • Understanding of payroll legislation (Income Tax, Employment Tax Incentives, Basic Conditions of  Employment Act, Sectoral Determination, PAYE, etc.) and guidelines and best practices 
    • Basic understanding of monthly and annual statutory payroll returns 
    • General understanding of provident and pension fund regulations and administration requirements Strong numerical ability 
    • Competencies: Accuracy, dutifulness, performing under pressure, results-oriented, cooperation, listening skills, flexibility, service orientated

    Executive Secretary (Western Cape)

    Description
    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    • The role will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Executive: Marketing (CEM). This role involves managing the CEM's schedule, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and performing various administrative tasks.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Calendar Management:
    • Coordinate and manage the CME's schedule, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
    • Prioritize and organize the CEM's daily agenda to ensure efficient time use.
    • Communication Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the CME.
    • Screen and manage incoming emails, phone calls, and correspondence, responding or redirecting as necessary.
    • Meeting Coordination:
    • Arrange and organize meetings, conferences, and events, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating logistics.
    • Travel Arrangements:
    • Handle all travel arrangements for the department, including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and visa arrangements.
    • Prepare detailed travel itineraries and provide necessary documentation.
    • Administrative Support:
    • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as requested.
    • Manage expense reports and reimbursements promptly.
    • Maintain a record of all IT and office equipment
    • Processing payments of invoices for the marketing department (excl. advertising accounts) on SAP

    Requirements

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12
    • Secretarial / Office Coordinator Diploma
    • 5 years experience as secretary to senior management/executive. 
    • Retail experience will be an advantage
    • Experience with travel arrangements both domestic and international. 
    • PC literacy (MS Office / Google Suite)
    • Knowledge and understanding of event coordination
    • Strong service orientation
    • Competencies: Devotion to quality, Planning, Flexibility, Initiative, Performing under pressure

    PURPOSE OF POSITION:

    • Leading a store team to meet business KPIs including driving sales, cost control,  mitigating risks and stock loss, administration and ensuring world class store standards. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Increase sales by focusing on customer service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, stock management and promotional implementation
    • Stock loss is minimised by having a healthy store culture and following security measures, stock and cash handling procedures.
    • Manage cost according to the company low cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store.

    Requirements

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12 
    • Proficient in English. 
    • Relevant tertiary education - a degree/diploma in a business/retail related field would be an advantage.
    • Ideally 1-2 years experience in a retail environment within a leadership role.
    • Computer Literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage).
