    Warehouse Manager (Retail)

    • A leading retailer is looking for a experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team. This role will be based at the warehouse operations in Johannesburg.

    Job responsibilities

    • Develops and oversees the complete warehouse operations in South Africa
    • 3PL Management
    • Material/Inventory Control and management
    • Stocking of inventory and Ensuring stock accuracy
    • Ensuring timely processing and deliveries of stock
    • Statutory and Regulatory Compliance
    • Logistics Management
    • Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers

    Senior Domestic Credit Analyst

    • Our client is seeking a Senior Domestic Credit Analyst to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your analytical skills, financial acumen, and industry knowledge within a leading organisation. You will be responsible for managing credit risk, analysing the creditworthiness of South African borrowers, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the domestic credit market.

    What you'll do:

    • As a Senior Domestic Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing credit risk for all product types on a single obligor, group, and portfolio basis.
    • Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve analysing credit data, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the domestic credit market, producing insightful research, and performing comparative analysis amongst industry peers. You will also ensure compliance with the Credit Risk Strategy and Policy while assisting various Risk Departments with the implementation of new transactions. Furthermore, you will monitor limits and exposures in the portfolio while taking responsibility for reporting requirements.
    • Analyse credit data to estimate degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the domestic credit market, industry trends, and economic conditions.
    • Produce research and impart knowledge on developments in the portfolio.
    • Perform comparative analysis amongst industry peers.
    • Ensure compliance with the Credit Risk Strategy and Policy.
    • Assist various Risk Departments with the implementation of new transactions.
    • Monitor limits and exposures in the portfolio.
    • Take responsibility for reporting requirements as allocated from time to time.

    What you bring:

    • The ideal candidate for this Senior Domestic Credit Analyst role brings a wealth of experience in credit processes and procedures. With a Commerce Degree and postgraduate qualifications such as CFA, CA(SA), FRM or equivalent, you have honed your ability to analyse financial statements and quantify financial risks. Your strong organising and planning abilities enable you to manage complex tasks efficiently. Additionally, your proficiency in Word and Excel aids you in producing detailed written reports that highlight important financial matters.
    • BCom Degree with minimum of 6-8 years of experience.
    • Post Graduate Qualifications, CFA, CA(SA), FRM or equivalent.
    • Previous exposure to credit processes and procedures essential.
    • Ability to analyse financial statements and quantify financial risks.
    • Ability to produce written reports highlighting financial matters of importance.
