Job Summary:
GIBB requires a Professional Construction Engineer in the Rail EPCM Environment who will be responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects related to rail infrastructure, such as railway lines, bridges, tunnels, stations, and other rail facilities. They work closely with architects, design engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure that construction projects are designed, planned, and executed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the construction phases of rail infrastructure construction projects from start to closeout.
- Collaborating with architects, design engineers, and project managers to ensure that projects are designed and planned to be constructed simply, safely, and effectively.
- Ensuring that the construction phase is completed within budget and on time.
- Ensuring that rail infrastructure projects meet regulatory requirements and adhere to safety, reliability, and sustainability standards.
- Collaborating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure that rail infrastructure projects are executed effectively, and managing any issues or conflicts that arise.
- Managing the process to ensure claims are minimised and any potential disputes are resolved swiftly and amicably.
- Ensuring that all project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports, are maintained and up to date.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings and making recommendations to senior management.
- Conducting regular project team meetings and providing guidance and support to team members.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5-10 years of EPCM / EPC Project Management experience in multi-disciplinary execution projects
- Must have completed a minimum of one mega project in an EPCM Project Manager role, from cradle to grave.
