    Yields Clerk - Randfontein

    • The successful incumbent will be responsible for weekly and monthly calculations and reconciliations of raw and packaging material to ensure correct yields. 

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric/Grade 12.
    • Completed/studying towards an Accounting qualification will be an advantage. (Accountings/Costing preferably)
    • Minimum 4 years relevant experience in a FMCG food manufacturing environment.
    • Working knowledge on MSOffice – Excel advanced level.
    • Working knowledge on Syspro or other ERP systems an added advantage.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Finalising of actual yields on a monthly basis i.e. calculations and control of all raw materials, finished products and packaging materials used to ensure efficient use of materials.                       
    • Doing monthly stock takings and valuations with special controlling of stock records for year-end audit.
    • Comparisons of financial and factory yields, investigating variances and liaising with factories in case of discrepancies.
    • Maintenance of spreadsheets for daily/weekly/monthly yields.
    • Engaged in preparation of yield figures to draw up financial statements up to gross margins.
    • All these functions are subject to tight deadlines which are non-negotiable and may result in long working hours.

    Quality Control Monitor - Spartan

    • The role will be responsible for the quality and monitoring of products manufactured on site. The suitable candidate will need to ensure that a high standard of quality controls are continuously met. The role works closely to support the quality team to identify solutions in maintaining appropriate food safety standards.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric
    • Qualification in Biotechnology/Food Technology advantageous

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Monitoring daily production processes
    • Complete daily production process check sheets
    • Monitoring temperature of product and of equipment
    • Monitoring all foreign objects (Glass & hard, pest, metal and other)
    • Monitoring packaging integrity
    • Monitoring final product shelf life, weights and Work in progress aspects
    • Monitoring cleaning and basic hygiene including house keeping
    • Monitoring and ensuring  traceability records are completed by relevant personnel
    • Monitoring of metal detection and ensure its efficiently working
    • Conducting product QC assessment (evaluation) for both beginning and end of shelf life
    • Truck Inspection and dispatching of final product
    • Final product sample collection for WW QC samples and for micro testing
    • Scale verifications
    • Take part in factory trials
    • Assist in investigation by retrieving records of production date in question
    • Filling and compiling daily document sheets
    • Conduct allergens/cleaning verification tests and conduct positive release
    • Report any issues that could affect daily operations and quality of product
    • Time management
    • Attend meetings when required
    • Training flour workers when required

    Refrigeration Technician - Coega - Port Elizabeth

    • RCL FOODS is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to perform skilled maintenance, installation, repair and inspection work on complex refrigeration equipment.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric supplemented by an approved apprenticeship programme in industrial refrigeration
    • Authorized refrigeration practitioner Cat B Ammonia
    • Authorized refrigeration practitioner CAT B Transport Refrigeration 
    • 3 Years’ experience in the repair and maintenance of industrial/truck refrigeration equipment.
    • Valid Code EB Driver’s license

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Planning of work according to the maintenance plan and schedule and per breakdown.
    • Maintenance and repair of all site-related equipment in accordance with the maintenance plan and schedule. 
    • Render assistance to handyman on faults that cannot be solved on their level of required competence.
    • Daily inspection of all work completed on-site including site facilities and buildings. 
    • Management, training, and development of maintenance handyman and technical assistant.
    • The discipline of maintenance handyman and technical assistant under direct control.
    • Issue daily job cards and inspect work executed. 

    Perform standby duties. 

    • Ability to assist at other sites when required.

    Assistant Account Manager (Shoprite) - Westville

    • The purpose of the role is to lead Regional and National customer negotiations and provide support to the Customer Executive and National Account Manager/s in the smooth running of a portfolio of accounts.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Marketing and Sales Degree or Diploma.

    • Monitor and report sales performance by customers.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with operations and planning staff.
    • Conduct regular analysis of customer product assortments and planograms.
    • Cross-functional category discussion to capitalize on growth opportunities.
