    Winding Engine Driver - Thabazimbi

    Your responsibilities include:

    • Stopping the winding operations if the working conditions are unsafe
    • Basic maintenance of equipment
    • Communicating winding engine defects to the appropriate supervisor or manager
    • Material usage to standard
    • Effective response to indicated problems
    • Transporting of persons
    • Safe and effective operations of winders.
    • Performing ore pulling operations from relevant levels.
    • Co-ordinate winding activities with total process requirements
    • Responding to standard hauling signals.
    • Assist during breakdowns or emergencies.

    Senior Tax Manager. - 7 month Fixed Term

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Lead and manage the identification of tax risks and opportunities arising from the Group’s evolving business model and assist in the development of solutions and actions as required to manage to deliver/ protect value for the Group in line with the Group’s Tax Strategy.
    • Lead the management of tax risk and identification of tax opportunities arising from the Group’s investment in new breakthrough areas such as decarbonisation technology and renewable sources of energy.
    • Manage & support development of further strategic priorities and focus areas for Group Tax from work being lead or undertaken by other Business Units and/ or Corporate Functions as a result of further business model change.
    • Drive and implement the plan of identified strategic priorities to mitigate tax risk, improve tax efficiency, improve tax certainty and develop influence with senior stakeholders.
    • Develop and, once it’s approved, monitor and manage the budget for your area
    • Identify any opportunities for improved cost management and either address these, or raise them with your manager as appropriate.
    • Demonstrate behaviour in line with the Group’s values, standards and a professional workplace.

    Qualifications:

    • Masters degree in Tax (desirable) 
    • CA (SA) Qualification (or similar/equivalent)

    Knowledge & Experience:

    • Tax Diligence: Possess advanced knowledge of tax due diligence processes within the jurisdiction, familiarity with variations in other countries to know when to reach out to them and be able to make recommendations to address identified risks
    • Tax Business Partnering: Maintain global sight of changing tax laws and be well-versed in how they shape potential business opportunities. Liaise with tax authorities to manage their expectations and lead delivery of tax requirements
    • Tax Governance: Design Governance Framework in line with Group Strategy. Ensure the business understands the risks that can arise and manage these risks with them. Implement RACI changes within the business and communicate these in a timely manner
    • Tax Controversy: Proactively engages with tax authorities and clearly understands tax laws, ongoing changes and trends in the laws and the organisation's worldwide tax filing positions in order to effectively manage tax risk. Develops and oversees tax controversy strategies and manages litigation risk
    • Tax Compliance: Possess sophisticated knowledge of tax compliance to be able to recognise trends in compliance risk internationally. Establishes strong relationships with tax authorities and shares relevant materials with them to ensure transparency. Ensures and understands how changes to international compliance requirements need to be adapted into the Tax Control Framework
    • Tax Accounting Skills: Possess advanced understanding of how taxes should be calculated in order to review. Monitors Effective Tax rate and proactively identifies risks and tax rate drivers.

    Operator RBMR

    Your duties will include:

    • Ensuring the effective and accurate Material supplies/handling - accurate binning, picking, labelling, packing, and distribution of goods/materials and to verify goods to be binned/transferred/picked by ensuring that information at the bins and on RF equipment correspond.
    • Ensuring operational efficiency at the Distribution Centre - adhering to picking operating procedures, to achieve efficiency in Distribution centre / HOP operations. Report any deviations regarding pre-packing/stacking methods applied.
    • Ensure SA System stock integrity - verifying bin accuracy when required and reporting on any incidents of shrinkage or fraud that are observed.
    • Adherence to health, safety, environmental and security issues - operate all Distribution Centre equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly and maintain Distribution Centre assets correctly, and ensures they are in fit condition for use. Undertake and maintain high good housekeeping practices at the Distribution Centre.

    Manager Commercial Planning and Risk

    Job Description:

    • The purpose of the Manager Commercial Planning and Risk is to provide leadership and oversight for commercial planning associated with the respective managed portfolio and support definition and delivery of a commercial strategy which manages supply chain risk effectively.
    • Develop the supply chain risk management process for categories with the managed portfolio for the global/ regional teams and liaise with Category/ Commercial/ Sourcing & Contracts / Purchasing Managers to identify, understand, analyze, and characterize risks and threats.
    • Liaise with global / regional category managements to build effective business continuity plans. influencing policies and procedures to realize strategic goals and minimize supply chain risks.
    • Support across the managed commercial portfolio the development and delivery of integrated medium to long-term category strategies with business cases that enable sustainable value creation; strategies to ensure the security of supply; supplier partnering that drives innovation and value; negotiation of bespoke global / regional framework agreements; contract life-cycle management and contract administration; as well as supplier performance management and reporting
    • Responsible for commercial portfolio governance, establishing and facilitating management routines to provide updates and ensure effective communication to impacted areas and key stakeholders.
    • Responsible for commercial planning activities associated with the global/ regional scope of work respective to the managed portfolio of commercial activities.
    • Responsible for a complete and accurate commercial planning pipeline for the managed portfolio with 12months visibility.
    • Responsible for tracking the portfolio roadmap initiatives by effectively monitoring, releasing benefits, and checking progress against targets.
    • Develop a collaborative relationship with regional Supply Chain discipline teams to ensure alignment on future demand requirements, optimization opportunities and resolution of supplier non-performance.

    Qualifications:

    • An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors / Honours Bachelors degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, e.g. Business Administration, Engineering, etc OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity
    • Desirable: A postgraduate qualification (Honours/ Masters/ Doctoral degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline OR a proven track record of 10+ years of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity

    Experience

    Manager Project Procurement

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Translate the overall global Supply Chain Strategy into a regional Project Procurement strategy (including critical tasks, resources, budget and performance targets).
    • Develop and implement appropriate Sourcing & Contract Management strategies to support BU Project needs and improved value delivery with a focus on cost reduction, working capital and TCO initiatives.
    • Drive effective planning through adequate external Supply Chain project resource allocation to successfully execute the project procurement pipeline across various disciplines.

    • Develop and drive an Inclusive Procurement programme to identify initiatives that are targeted at increasing host community procurement participation.
    • Support a strategic approach across commercial work where communities are central to all commercial strategies, agreements and associated initiatives.
    • Support the Project Team, Supply Chain Manager and Company Representative functions in the implementation and operationalisation of Growth and Stay-in-Business projects, as well as continued contractor management initiatives and AOP process support.
    • Ensure compliance to all Project Procurement Sourcing and Contract Management policies, standards, tools and methods, and applicable legislative requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • An undergraduate qualification - Bachelor degree level or equivalent
    • Desirable: A postgraduate qualification (Honours/ Masters degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity

    Knowledge and experience required:

    • Good technical knowledge across the Supply Chain value chain with the ability to integrate various fields (Projects, Commercial, Physical Supply Chain, Supplier Management, Purchasing)
