    About the opportunity

    • Core Group’s Digital & Technology team is looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to take end-to-end ownership of software delivery while building and leading a high-performing engineering team.
    • You’ll work across our omnichannel platform — including e-commerce, mobile, point-of-sale and the integrations that connect these experiences to core retail and wholesale systems.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Own assigned software projects from scoping, planning and estimation through execution, risk management and release.
    • Manage scope, capacity, timelines and delivery priorities, removing obstacles before they impact commitments.
    • Build, structure and resource the engineering team; coach, develop and hold team members accountable for delivery.
    • Ensure the team consistently follows agreed architecture, engineering, security, quality and release standards.
    • Drive delivery against the technology roadmap for e-commerce, trade-in, POS and ERP/OMS/WMS/CRM integrations.
    • Promote strong Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, quality gates, code review and release governance.
    • Partner with stakeholders to translate business goals into clear, deliverable technical work and communicate risks and dependencies early.
    • Coordinate readiness for peak-trading periods and major product launches across supported markets.

    The environment you’ll lead

    • Omnichannel platforms: e-commerce, mobile and POS
    • Retail/wholesale integrations: ERP, OMS, WMS and CRM
    • Agile delivery, CI/CD, engineering quality gates and release management
    • Capacity planning, technical debt and operational excellence

    What we’re looking for

    • Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 8+ years in a technical role, including substantial experience leading software development teams and integrations.
    • Proven experience running software projects independently from planning through delivery.
    • Strong people leadership, resource planning and performance-management capability.
    • Ability to interpret and enforce technical and architectural standards.
    • Strong communication, problem-solving and escalation-management skills.

    Advantageous

    • Retail, e-commerce, POS or omnichannel experience.
    • Experience delivering through high-demand events such as product launches and peak trading.
    • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines and delivery tracking tools such as ClickUp.

    What will make you successful

    • You are a delivery-focused leader who can simplify complexity, create clarity for a team and take accountability for both the people and the outcome.

    How we work

    • We value customer focus, getting things done, teamwork, innovation, integrity, passion and embracing differences. We’re looking for people who bring those values into the way they solve problems, collaborate and deliver.
