Senior Full Stack Developer at Core Group

About the opportunity

• Core Group is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to deliver complex features across the web front ends and back-end services of our omnichannel platform. You’ll work across e-commerce, trade-in, POS and integrations to core retail and wholesale systems, taking ownership of the harder work in the backlog while supporting less-experienced developers through strong technical guidance and code review.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver complex features end to end across Angular/React front ends and .NET/C# or Node.js back ends with minimal supervision.
• Own feature- and component-level technical design within the architecture and patterns defined by the solution architecture team.
• Lead and participate in code reviews, helping to raise code quality across the team.
• Build secure, reliable and performant features that can withstand peak trading and major product-launch demand.
• Contribute to backlog refinement and estimation, help unblock peers and participate fully in Agile delivery.
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers and share technical knowledge across the team.
• Design and consume APIs used by web and native mobile clients.

• Front end: Angular and React

• Data: SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure
• Integration: Azure Integration Stack with ERP / OMS / WMS / CRM platforms

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8 years building and shipping software, including complex features delivered end to end.
• Strong hands-on experience across the web and back-end stack: Angular/React, .NET/C#/Node.js and relational/NoSQL data stores.
• Strong technical design and independent problem-solving ability.
• Good automated-testing, secure-coding and code-review discipline.
• Ability to mentor less-experienced developers and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Advantageous

• Retail, e-commerce, POS or omnichannel experience.
• Experience building on Microsoft Azure.
• Exposure to APIs used by multiple client applications, including web and mobile.
