Manager: ERP Oracle Functional at National Health Laboratory Services

Key Job Responsibility

• Responsible for oversight, supervision and management of the Business Analysis, Quality Assurance and Information Training Departments within Application and Systems Support Division Contribute to strategy and policy formulation for the Applications and Support Department. Provide guidance, supervision and management of the production of each stream’s operational plans Monitor and trail performance of streams against set objectives Produce various management reports on various aspects of the streams activities. Staff management and development Present on various topics relating to streams under Functional Management Monitor streams performance regarding SLAs'(where applicable). Craft and implement risk management plans for the Functional Management Department Provides input to the Disaster Recovery and Capacity Planning processes Active promotion of effective and cordial stakeholder relationships.

Minimum requirements & key competency

• Three (3) year Degree or Diploma or Equivalent in Information Technology (NQF Level6) Project Management Certification Medical Technology Related Qualification ITIL (Desirable) 7-9 years’ experience in a Senior Functional role 5 years’ experience in managing a team of high level IT professionals Experience with Oracle Technologies Databases and related development/support methodologies/frameworks 5 years’ experience in managing a team of high level IT professionals Ability to conduct research and develop strategic business documents Analytic and problem solving skills Experience in designing and implementing mission-critical systems in a business enterprise environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Assertive Methodical with attention to details Ability to conceive change Ability to work under pressure Management/or Supervisory skills Interpersonal Skills Analytical and numerical skills Administrative skills Project management skills (Desirable).
