Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining machinery and equipment on the site per required standards
• Maintaining and repairing site equipment and building maintenance
• Attend to plumbing, carpentry/welding, building, plastering and tiling
• Adherence to Planned and Preventative maintenance schedules
• Improving OEE (overall equipment efficiency) on all production lines
• Reduce unplanned downtime
• Health and Safety supervision of machinery, equipment and working environment
• Compliance with OHS Act
• Provide an effective Engineering service to the Production department
• Perform administrative tasks (job cards, quality check sheets, etc.)
• Perform stand-in duties
• Leading and supervising people
• Participate in E2 empowering excellence

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

• N3-N6 equivalent with Trade Certificate - Fitter and/or Turner, Mechanical Engineering
• N3 trade test certificate
• Grade 12 or Mechanical/Electrical NTC3 qualification
• Full N2 trade theory completed
• Experience in a high-speed, high-tech bottling operation will be advantageous
• Completed apprenticeship with a recognized Institution i.e., was registered as an apprentice
• More than 2-3 years of relevant practical experience
• Ability to work under pressure and display good attention to detail
• Proven ability in problem-solving and knowledge of the various problem-solving methods
• Must be self-motivated, innovative and able to work without or with limited supervision
• To reflect good leadership behaviour - towards colleagues, superiors and company values
• Must be willing and able to work shifts and overtime when required
• Team player drives initiative and makes things happen and makes a difference 
• Independent, hands-on passion for work
• Computer literacy will be an advantage

Key performance areas include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining electronic systems on existing machinery and equipment
• Attending to electronic-related equipment breakdowns
• Fault finding in electronic equipment
• Attending to electrical-related equipment breakdowns, if required
• Provide assistance to production lines
• Installation of electronic systems on new machinery and equipment
• Upgrading, optimizing and modifying electronic control systems
• Programming stacking patterns on palletizers, etc
• Adhering to all relevant quality, health & safety policies and procedures
• Completing all relevant administration
• Providing inputs for budgets (OPEX and CAPEX)

    The successful candidate must have the following qualifications/experience/skills:

• Qualified Electronic/Electrical Artisan (T3/S3/N6)
• Trade Test Certificate
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the Electronics Environment

Working knowledge of:

•      PLC/HMI programming (Siemens S7, Win CC, Simotion Scout, TIA Portal, etc.)
•       Industrial networks (Profibus, Ethernet, ASI, etc.)
•       Scada Systems / Plant Information Systems
•       Electrical components (contactors, overloads, starters, sensors, PT100, etc.)
•       Variable speed drives (Danfoss, Telemechanique, Lenze, etc.)
• Familiar with conveyor line controls, automation, and high-speed filling lines
• Computer literate in MS Office package (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Willing and able to be on standby and respond to callouts after hours and on weekends (standby is rotated on a weekly basis)
• Willing and able to work extended hours (overtime) as and/or when required
• Ability to cope with the inherent physical demands of the position

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the establishment, placing, monitoring, and controlling of purchase requirements
• Ensuring all purchase orders are actioned timeously. 
• Actioning outstanding orders timeously 
• Quick resolution of AP workflows/ Queries
• Ensuring site adhere to purchasing policies and procedures (governance) 
• Establishing “no order, no work” must be done on site (Invoice Violation)
• After hours service requirement must be accompanied by Emergency order number.
• Actioning of DDL report 
• Raising notifications for any poor workmanship/ failure to adhere to delivery dates.
• Maintaining and improving relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Adhering to all ICC procedures pertaining to purchasing process.
• Ensuring competitive pricing and implementing cost savings.
• Sourcing and negotiating prices.
• Running material requirement planning report daily to items gets replenished timeously.
• Perform stand-in duties for the Senior buyer 

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

• Grade 12
• A tertiary qualification in Purchasing/procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, CIPS or equivalent tertiary qualification will be essential. 
• 1-2 years’ experience in purchasing.
• Able to supervise the correct implementation and utilisation of administrative procedures.
• Must be meticulous and consistently display good attention to detail.
• Able to apply purchasing/ buying principles, procedures, and practices in own work area according to organisational requirements.
• Able to interpret product related requirements and apply correct buying/ purchasing techniques to satisfy needs.
• Able to initiate contact with parties relevant to work functions.
• Can develop alternative strategies to handle changes/situations in own working area.
• Is pro-active and anticipates problems before they arise.
• Can follow through with own tasks even if peaks occur and deadlines are set.
• Responds to and resolves customer problems quickly and amicably.
• Computer literate in MS Office, especially Excel on an intermediate level of competency. 
• Experience working on SAP purchasing modules will be of an advantage.
• FMCG experience will be of an advantage.
• Strong planning, organising, and coordinating skills.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills to ensure task completion.
