    Materials Management Controller (Limpopo)

    Description

    Forklift Operation: 

    • Operate forklifts safely and effectively to load and unload materials from trucks and bakkies, while performing routine equipment checks to meet safety standards. 

    Loading and Offloading: 

    • Execute daily dispatch preparation by reviewing dispatch requirements, preparing products for loading, updating the magazine register, and completing the necessary administrative tasks. 
    • Support correct loading operations by verifying product type and quantities, assisting in the physical loading onto vehicles, and finalising administrative documentation within set timelines. 
    • Handle loading and offloading tasks in compliance with safety protocols and loading diagrams, ensuring product integrity during handling and transport. 

    Stock Management: 

    • Conduct daily stock counts, update the magazine stock register, and follow First-In-First-Out (FIFO) practices to prevent product expiration and maintain inventory accuracy. 
    • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock take, promptly report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor, and assist in stock organisation. 
    • Organise and store materials in designated areas, ensuring secure and accessible placement while keeping records up to date. 

    Communication: 

    • Communicate clearly with customers regarding deliveries and address any queries or issues to ensure service satisfaction. 
    • Collaborate with team members to support smooth warehouse and dispatch operations and resolve operational concerns. 

    Safety and Compliance: 

    • Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and participate in safety training to uphold a secure working environment. 
    • Immediately report safety hazards or incidents to supervisors to prevent risk or recurrence. 

    Administration: 

    • Ensure accurate and timely receipt of products and materials by reconciling deliveries with expected schedules, updating the magazine register, and completing daily administrative documentation and signoffs. 
    • Provide general administrative assistance by receiving instructions, interpreting task requirements, executing tasks efficiently, and reporting on progress or issues as needed.

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent  
    • Driver’s license 
    • Forklift License 
    • Diploma in supply chain or similar (Advantageous)
    • 3+ years in supply chain operations  
    • 1+ year in supply chain explosives and/or mining (Advantageous)
    • 1+ year in explosives magazine registers maintenance (Advantageous)
    • Stock Management System, SAP, Microsoft Office 
    • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg) regularly. 
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. 
    • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels

    Site Supervisor (Limpopo)

    Description

    • Align operational plans with site priorities by coordinating production planning, scheduling activities, and managing the end-to-end flow of materials, including ordering, transportation, storage, and distribution.
    • Oversee equipment and product maintenance by maintaining accurate inventories, coordinating procurement, tracking usage and condition.
    • Manage explosive-related incidents through timely investigations, initiation of emergency response protocols, stakeholder coordination, and formal incident reporting.
    • Achieve targeted face advancement by developing detailed blasting plans in collaboration with engineers and geologists, and scheduling blasting activities in line with mining and production targets.
    • Supervise full blasting services and down-the-hole operations, including on-site maintenance of MMUs and related equipment, ensuring proper execution and daily operational compliance.

    • Maintain contractor pack compliance by understanding regulatory requirements, sourcing and updating documentation to ensure monthly compliance.
    • Execute risk assessments and apply mitigation measures as part of the safety management system, ensuring consistent adherence to standards.
    • Manage PPE stock and usage by maintaining inventory levels, processing orders, and enforcing compliance with PPE protocols.
    • Oversee stock management by integrating raw material planning with production schedules and ensuring effective inventory control systems.

    Ops Chargehand (Limpopo)

    Description

    • Assist with the maintenance and application of the Development Delivery System (DDS™) by supporting the Service Technician in daily inspections, monitoring equipment status, reporting DDS™ emulsion levels underground, and performing minor repairs when required. 
    • Provide technical support on explosives products to mining personnel through on-the-job training in charging and connecting Enaex explosive products, and by offering guidance on the safe use of related equipment and materials. 
    • Support machinery and equipment maintenance by acting as the first responder to breakdowns, identifying root causes, performing permitted repairs, adhering to correct repair procedures, and submitting detailed breakdown and maintenance reports. 
    • Promote a safe and efficient work environment by identifying hazards and risks, conducting pre-task risk assessments, reporting spillages, performing density checks, maintaining records, following up on management recommendations, and submitting monthly or ad hoc reports on site conditions. 
    • Assist in the safe handling and application of explosives by evaluating product application processes, ensuring compliance with training guidelines, handling, storing, and transporting products safely, and conducting blast surveys in line with designed criteria when required.

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent. 
    • Blaster Assistant Skills Programme. 
    • Competent B for Underground Mining.
    • Engineering Qualification (Millwright) - Advantageous.
    • 2+ years’ mining experience.

    Inventory Controller (Gauteng - Rosebank)

    Description

    • Ensure compliance with organisational policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge, participating in training sessions, and proactively sourcing answers to queries on a daily and as-needed basis. 
    • Comply with established processes through accurate implementation, continuous process awareness, and timely resolution of any areas of concern.
