    Software Engineer - Web Developer

    Job Purpose

    At inspHire, the primary role of the Web Developer is to create and implement web product solutions. The web developer will work closely with the Product Owner in order refine and estimate epics and stories. They will work closely with the development team in order to meet release and delivery objectives. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Develop web applications, using a variety of programming languages, from design documents, stories and acceptance criteria 
    • Work within a defined set of professional coding standards and design guidelines
    • Be familiar with the concept of continuous integration/delivery (automated and continuous builds/test)
    • Demonstrate a high level of software craftsmanship, commitment to quality and a conscientious approach to work
    • A good working knowledge of software version control using Subversion/Git (should also be familiar with the concepts of branching/merging etc.)
    • A strong knowledge of software development life-cycle processes including the methodologies of Agile and Scrum (iterative releases, daily build/test, code inspections etc)
    • Understanding and knowledge of Unit Testing and TDD
    • Be passionate about software development and modern technology
    • A willingness to keep up to date with new development tools and techniques
    • To constantly promote a positive attitude to the whole company and its customers
    • Good communication and writing skills 

    Key Requirements:

    Essential 

    • .NET 
    • ASP.NET (WebAPI an advantage)
    • Javascript
    • SQL
    • WebForms
    • Familiarity with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM)
    • Ability to build well-structured complex web applications using web modern tools, patterns, and practices.
    • Ability to write clean and re-usable code (e.g., web components)
    • API design and implementation
    • Source code management through git 

    Desirable :

    • Intermediate HTML, CSS
    • Blazor
    • Visual Studio and/or VS Code
    • PostgreSQL and/or MS SQL Server
    • Microsoft Azure or cloud exposure
    • Microsoft DevOps (managing CI/CD pipelines)

    Global Campaign and Communications Coordinator

    Job Purpose

    • This role will be integral to how information is obtained and shared across the business internally and externally, as we focus more on our people, strive towards becoming an employer of choice and share our value proposition. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Work closely with relevant HR and Talent Acquisition Stakeholders across the globe to support the business’ people-related requirements for communications 
    • Promote KCS as an employer of choice internally and externally
    • Gather and collate information that needs to be shared across the business, whether that be for our internal newsletter or for our monthly Q&A, sharing of company benefits etc.
    • Manage people-related social media posts for exp welcoming our new starts and sharing information on KCS as an employer of choice 
    • Support the HR and Talent Acquisition teams with any design-related requirements whether that be flyers for career fairs, internal brochures, brochures about KCS as an employer, social posts etc.
    • Product teams to provide info on the latest and most up-to-date product information, which will be created in conjunction with the brand and design team, to be shared with local marketing teams
    • Run a global campaign calendar 
    • Coordinate global campaigns 

    Key Requirements:

    • Communications qualification 
    • Knowledge of social media platforms and the management of people and company-related posts (not product/events etc… purely people-related content and content about the company)
    • Knowledge of LinkedIn Life pages
    • Minimum 3 years experience as internal communications coordinator
    • Minimum 3 years experience as a campaign coordinator
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent PowerPoint skills
    • Experience in working with product marketing
    • Experience in working with global stakeholders
    • Experience in obtaining, collating and sharing information internally
    • Manage and interact with different stakeholders
    • Able to gather information and share in a creative and fun way

    Facilities Manager - JHB

    Job Purpose:

    • The Facilities Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of facilities and administration services for all building users including staff, visitors, clients and audience. This tole will be primarily looking after the 2 main commercial properties for KCS South Africa. These will include both offices in Johannesburg, and an office in Stellenbosch.
    • The Facilities Manager will ensure consistent service delivery to internal stakeholders.  Taking full ownership of facilities process development and management while also being responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the buildings, ensuring that they meet health and safety standards, as well as being legally compliant. 
    • You will also manage the cleaning, waste disposal, catering, security and parking facilities at all sites, while effectively managing the budgets as well as record keeping on all payments and 3rd party services and operations.   

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the overall services provided within the facility 
    • Create a suitable environment for the purpose and needs of the office 
    • Use best business practices to manage and reduce operation costs 
    • Create a budget for various facility needs and expenses 
    • Compare costs for various services and goods before choosing the best options for the facility 
    • Manage the maintenance of the building by performing repairs or contracting maintenance services as needed 
    • Track building upkeep as well as anticipated long- and short-term improvements and maintenance 
    • Keep the surrounding grounds properly cared for and landscaped 
    • Handle certain administrative tasks, such as preparing reports for business owners 
    • Ensure the security of the building by researching and implementing various security measures, such as surveillance cameras or security staff members 
    • Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facility 
    • Carrying out other such duties reasonably falling within the scope of the role, as may be required by the company  

    Key Requirements: 

    • At least a bachelor's degree in business management, facilities management, or a related field
