    Store Manager - Estcourt Ithala Centre

    Description

    PURPOSE OF POSITION: Leading a store team to meet business KPIs including driving sales, cost control,  mitigating risks and stock loss, administration and ensuring world class store standards. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Increase sales by focusing on customer service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, stock management and promotional implementation
    • Stock loss is minimised by having a healthy store culture and following security measures, stock and cash handling procedures.
    • Manage cost according to the company low cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store.
    • Ensure administrative duties within the store are done according to the company guidelines.
    • Leading a dynamic team of Dynamos - taking responsibility for team training, coaching and performance.
    • Standards - maintain general health, safety and housekeeping standards

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12 
    • Proficient in English. 
    • Relevant tertiary education - a degree/diploma in a business/retail related field would be an advantage.
    • Ideally 1-2 years experience in a retail environment within a leadership role.
    • Computer Literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage).

    People Support Manager

    Purpose of the job

    To collaborate with business leaders and leading a people team to deliver people strategies that enable the achievement of business goals. This is done by playing and leading the People Business partner function at the Pep Central Office.  This includes the management of talent, development & culture as a trusted people advisor. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execution of our People Strategies that translate to business objectives being achieved. 
    • Drive our “Sikhula KhunYe”culture and employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive and productive environment.
    • Designing & execution of Talent Management plans, in line with the People strategy. 
    • Collaborate with People Centres of Excellence & Shared Services to deliver effective solutions in recruitment, labour relations, compensation, and benefits.

    Requirements

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies 

    • A HR related qualification (degree)
    • At least 5-8 years relevant, fully fledged generalist experience at a management level, preferably in a retail corporate office  or related industry
    • Confident and passionate HR professional with a proven track record of being a trusted advisor
    • Good understanding of Recruitment & Selection, Employee Relations, Payroll and other general HR processes, policies and procedures
    • Computer literacy (MS Office/G-Suite)

    Head of Customer

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    The Head of Customer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of customer data strategies that enhance our understanding of customer behavior and drive business growth. This role will involve managing a team of data analysts and scientists, collaborating with various departments, and leveraging data to inform decision-making and improve the overall customer experience (CX) and increase customer lifetime value for the business.

    • Data Strategy implementation: Develop and implement a robust data strategy to ensure accurate, accessible, data for business initiatives.
    • Customer Insights and Analytics: Develop and present reports on customer insights, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations to key senior stakeholders.
    • Customer Journey  Optimisation: Optimise and identify opportunities for enhancing the customer journey across the different business segments. 
    • Technology: Staying abreast of emerging technologies and tools in data analytics and customer insights to enhance PEP's capabilities and improve customer experience. 
    • Team Leadership: Provide leadership to the team of Data analysts, Scientists, and CRM specialists, guiding them to develop and execute customer-centric strategies in omnichannel retail environments.
    • Implement/Manage the company customer Data governance and ensure data quality and integrity.

    ROLE  REQUIREMENTS 

    • Customer experience (CX) obsessed, track record of solving robust customer needs. 
    • Honours degree in Analytics, Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in a senior data or analytics role, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment with a minimum of 5-10 years in  a senior managerial-related role.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, BIG Data).
    • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data visualisation tools and statistical analysis.
    • Demonstrated success in translating data insights into actionable customer strategies.
    • Salesforce experience would be a strong advantage
    • Competencies: Devotion to quality, Leadership, Result oriented, Structuring, Analysing and forming opinions, Helicopter view, Market orientation, Situational Awareness.

    Visual Merchandiser

    Purpose of the job

    • To support the overall merchandising standards in the stores, which include window displays, in-store displays, product merchandising and marketing material.  

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the Visual Merchandise Manager in developing, updating and maintaining the merchandise standards manual (PEPGrow) to ensure correct implementation in stores
    • Creation of merchandising guidelines for window- and in-store displays
    • Develop and communicate monthly guidelines for window displays and in-store displays
    • Preparation of Seasonal sales plan and workshop documents
    • Create VM workshop documents to support field structure with VM in stores
    • Support field with physical new store openings and workshops
    • Visual Merchandise projects & fixture rollout assistance
    • Researches industry standards for VM

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

    • Grade 12 
    • Driver’s licence 
    • Tertiary qualification in fashion/interior/graphic design 
    • Experience in visual merchandising will be an advantage 
    • Willingness to travel
    • Computer Literate (MS Office)
    • Experience in shop fitting and space planning will be an advantage
    • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite programmes eg. Indesign, Photoshop and Adobe XI
    • Skilled in Sketch Up Pro
