ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a permanent full-time position.
As a Coordinator Finance Services you will be responsible to provide support, coordination and administration for the activities of the Finance function within GBS and to process Sundry Accounts Receivable and Intercompany Accounting; Fixed Assets and Projects Accounting; Payroll Accounting and Master Data; including relevant period end tasks with timely, accurate and customer-focused execution for South32.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Manage general ledger accounting reconciliations within the prescribed timeframe to minimise exceptions;
- Identify and investigate reconciliation exceptions on relevant general ledger accounts;
- Adherence to statutory, regulatory and legislative reporting requirements; IFRS in particular
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Finance or a Shared Services Environment;
- Solid understanding of relevant SAP Modules (e.g. Finance/ HR/ Supply);
- Working knowledge in processing of in Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets & Projects, Payroll Accounting and Master Data functions and processes.
Qualifications for this role are:
- National Advanced Certificate (2 years) or Equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.

As an Administrator Supply Processing you will be responsible to ensure the timely and accurate processing and execution of invoices, service entry sheets and service requests for South32.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Ensure daily processing target is met;
- Participate in NCR’s and ensure all 3Q’s are completed and learnings shared with fellow team members;
- 100% attendance of daily SPOT meetings;
- Ensure all queries and cases are completed on time, accurately and within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA);
- Contribute to maintain a culture of innovation, learning and development and continuous improvement;
- Recommend improvement initiatives in existing processes, practices, and systems;
- Ensure compliance to all internal controls, agreements, systems, standards, governance, and procedures as well as legislative requirements and statutory reporting.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, Procure to Pay, Supply Chain or a Shared Services Environment.
- Working knowledge in invoice processing, service entry sheets, service requests and other related services;
- Working knowledge of process improvement processes and methodology preferable.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Matric/Grade 12 with English and Math Literacy;

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As a Supervisor Production, you will be responsible to supervise the execution of production and logistics activities undertaken by front-line operational personnel and lead in line with the schedule, standards and performance targets for People, HSECQ, Volume & Cost.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Provide day-to-day supervision, expertise and direction to a Production team within an operation area to ensure delivery against plans;
- Supervise and lead the execution of the production plan in order to achieve established performance targets;
- Ensure Production employees and contractors adhere to work standards, are competent, and understand the purpose and functionality of critical controls relevant to their work;
- Provide input into production or logistics strategies, budgets, and plans as well as the improvement of work management processes and critical controls for material risks;
- Supervise, coach and mentor employees to deliver performance by setting Key Performance Indicators, conducting performance reviews and creating personal development plans;
- Contribute to building a cohesive working environment.
- Build, support and maintain healthy diverse internal and external relationships and implement remedial actions were required to ensure achievement of organisational goals;
- Provide relevant and specialised technical support, where required, to peers and colleagues to ensure the achievement of objectives;
- Delivery of maintenance KPI’s for your section;
- Ensure compliance with statutory legislation, and South32 standards and requirements;
- Implement effective risk management processes and engage relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence;
- Identify and develop cost-effective processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost drivers. Continuously review cost vs. benefit and report recommendations;
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- 3- 4 years’ experience in Production / Industrial area experience
Qualifications for this role are:
- N6 Diploma in a Technical field;
- Valid Trade would be advantageous;
- Degree or National Diploma in a Technical field would be advantageous.
