Purpose of Role:

To manage and perform all required administrative duties, ensuring timeous and accurate completion of tasks and functions, coordinating and completing all functions associated with the tendering process together with collection, collation and analysis of data and documentation.

Purpose of Role:

• Management and Control of a project from booking to delivery.

• Maintain regular communication with suppliers, including management and work teams, to track the status of supplies.
• Address any potential delays in the supply chain and collaboratively resolve issues to minimize the impact of late shipments.
• Demonstrate knowledge of best practice quality management, assurance, control, and inspection/testing (NDT) processes, procedures, and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to product manufacture and supply contracts

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registration with ECSA as a Candidate Engineering Technologist (preferred).
• Experience in the mechanical or industrial engineering industry (>8 years).
• Knowledge of mechanical steel fabrication, machining, pumps, valves, steel   castings, fabrication, plastic molding, and rubber lining.
• Familiarity with quality management, assurance, control, and inspection/testing processes.
• Commercial awareness and project management expertise.

Purpose of Role:

Compilation of technically and commercially accurate costs/quotes/tenders incorporating all products and services offered by Weir Minerals Africa and the EAMECA region.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide detailed costing on all products and services for the quotes and tenders which are to be issued to branches and/or customers.
• Develop and maintain cost models and cost analysis.
• Supporting sales activity in achieving targets and budgets through optimising costing systems and processes.
• Supporting all tendering activities, including preparation, compilation and submission of tenders and clarification responses.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
