    Revenue Manager

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a strategic and ambitious senior leader who can help shape the future of revenue management: drive revenue growth across our iconic hotels and brands, nurture high-performance teams and shape emerging capability, and be at the helm of sector-leading technology as we roll it out across our global operations.
    • As Revenue Manager, you will collaborate and guide other departments to optimize our revenue performance and achieve our business goals. You will formulate and execute revenue strategies for our hotels, collaborate with the executive team on long-term business plans, develop our revenue community of practice internally and externally, and identify and inspire talent growth. You will prioritize recognition, comprehensive support and career development amongst your team, and receive the same in turn as you grow your career as a Heartist®.

    You will;

    • Lead the revenue management approach and develop robust revenue strategies.
    • Support the executive team on long-term business plans and manage the revenue management budget process.
    • Lead the weekly Revenue Management meetings providing insights based on reporting data.
    • Develop topline revenue forecasts and actively seek opportunities to drive incremental profit across all revenue centers of the business.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and optimize pricing and inventory.
    • Mentor, coach and develop colleagues and leaders in revenue management practices.
    • Drive initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and sustainability efforts.
    • Collaborate with sales, finance, and front office teams to achieve revenue goals.
    • Ensure reservations are optimized by coordinating with the reservations team.
    • Drive market share in your competitive set and ensure all systems are adequately used to optimize RevPAR.
    • Develop an evolving culture of understanding and best practice in the changing distribution landscape, including online travel agencies and distribution networks.
    • Responsible for data quality and system hygiene of Revenue Management and Distribution applications; platforms and tools used by the hotel.

    FIT Reservations Agent

    Job Description

    • Respond to communications from guests via email, telephone and any other external platforms. Create and maintain reservations, guest, and company profiles, sending of confirmation letters, requests, cancellations, and modifications and perform in a prompt and professional manner. Assisting with any other duties that might requested by senior management within the scope of this role.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Matric (grade12)
    • Previous experience in the hotel industry 
    • Knowledge in Reservations
