    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to Manager Maintenance Engineering and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

    • Adhere to relevant statutory and legislative regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), operational standards, policies and practices. 
    • Perform daily cleaning duties in a timeous manner. 
    • Support others in carrying out cleaning activities as well as ad hoc requests.
    • Ensure enough supply of cleaning materials and staff refreshments. 
    • Inspect equipment and take remedial action. 
    • Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance, and general cleanliness in line with statutory and Company regulations. 
    • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal relationships to ensure achievement of organizational goals. 
    • Implement remedial actions where required. 

    Technical Skills and Experience 

    The following skills and experience will be required: 

    • Grade 12 and/or equivalent is essential. 
    • Knowledge of Airport Operations would be advantageous. 
    • Code B Drivers Licence would be advantageous.

    Tradesman Aid Mechanical Maintenance.INT KIA

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Technician Mechanical Maintenance and will be responsible for the following:

    • Participate in root cause analysis.
    • Complete defined audits, monitor processes and adherence to standards.
    • Execute safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
    • Assist artisan with infrastructure maintenance and routine inspections as and when required.
    • Give support in commissioning and testing of assets.
    • Propose that tools that is in artisan profile is emphasised in this profile
    • Provide insight into studies on upgrades/replacements of assets.
    • Provide input into maintenance planning, scheduling and execution of the assets.
    • Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
    • Liaison and engage with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient operations.
    • Provide input into all relevant reports.
    • Identify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
    • Engage with relevant Stakeholders on report findings.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience will be required:

    • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is essential.
    • N3 Mechanical Engineering is essential. 
    • Trade test advantageous.
    • 1 year maintenance experience is recommended. 
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
    • Code B drivers’ licence is advantageous.

    Senior Electrician CTIA

    Key Performance Outputs

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the 1st Electrician and will be responsible for the following:

    • Manage availability, maintenance, and safety of tools.
    • Ensure safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
    • Ensure and maintain safe and clean working environment (housekeeping).
    • Conduct studies and make recommendations on upgrades/replacements of assets.
    • Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
    • Provide Input into allocated budget.
    • Input into maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution of the asset
    • Monitor and manage quality of maintenance work
    • Utilisation of enterprise asset management system.
    • Provide input into project design.
    • Monitor performance of contractors and service providers according to service level agreement
    • Coach and mentor junior staff and provide support when required.
    • Identify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
    • Provide relevant and specialised technical support in area of expertise to relevant stakeholders to ensure achievement of objectives.
    • Plan, schedule, supervise and coach subordinate activities within processes or services to achieve efficiency and quality goals
    • Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive working environment.

    Operations Service Quality Analyst/CTIA

    Key Performance Outputs

    The successful candidate, reporting to the Senior Specialist Technical Solutions will be responsible for the following:

    • Provide relevant and specialised support to relevant stakeholders to ensure achievement of objectives.  
    • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals. 
    • Implement remedial actions where required. 
    • Resolve escalated queries and provide suggestions/solutions for improvement of Customer Service Levels.
    • Manage, monitor and ensure adequate systems resource levels. 
    • Manage the utilisation of the systems to ensure efficiency. 
    • Perform analysis of system data, compile report findings and submit to relevant parties. 
    • Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures.
    • Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance. 
    • Ensure that all customers comply with policies and standard operating procedures (SOP).  
    • Manage Quality Management Systems and infrastructure audits.

    • Complete monthly forecast and variance reporting (CAPEX and OPEX). 
    • Manage workforce planning and implement approved labour plans to ensure team is suitably staffed to meet sub-functional objectives. 
    • Implement and manage people development initiatives such as performance management, succession planning and talent management to ensure team performance meet required standards. 
    • Plan, schedule, coordinate and supervise subordinate activities to ensure efficiency and achievement of goals. 
    • Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive working environment. 
    • Coach employees on lower levels to ensure knowledge transfer and skills development. 
    • Manage the implementation of ad hoc Operational projects within set requirements.  
    • Evaluate project feasibility and benefits.

    Technical Skills and Experience 

    The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required: 

    • The successful candidate must have a valid Matric (Grade 12) qualification. 
    • Bachelor's degree in business commerce is essential. 
    • 2 – 3 year's Business Operations experience is essential. 
    • 2 - 3 years supervisory experience in Airport Operations is essential. 
    • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate, reporting to the Local Airport Manager and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

    • Provide administrative support during the implementation of interventions.
    • Monitor stock levels and purchase stationary and /or sundry for the office.

    • Prepare letters, reports, memoranda, presentations and other relevant documentation.
    • Transcribe, record and distribute minutes of meetings to relevant parties.
    • Assist in preparation of tender documentation.
    • Implement filing system. Recordkeeping, retrieving and filing of relevant documentation.
    • Adhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
    • Ensure all source documentation is confidentially maintained, securely stored and filed in accordance with Standard Operating procedures.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The challenges posed by this position require the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience: 

    • National Senior Certificate NQF Level 4 is essential.
    • 1-2 years’ Operational experience is essential.
    • Post Matric Qualification in Operations Management / Office Administration / Business Administration is advantageous.
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Code 8 driver’s license
