    Job Description
    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate reporting to the Senior Safety Compliance Officer, will be responsible for:

    • Implement team operational plans to ensure defined objectives are met
    • Ensure compliance to all applicable legislation, international, local and company standards, policies, and procedures
    • Conduct compliance inspections, report on and follow-up to ensure that non-conformances/compliance have been addressed.
    • Respond to incidents and accidents, conduct preliminary investigation, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Gather and capture information in respect of SHE occurrences, incidents, accidents, and non-conformances.
    • Participate in implementation of Safety Campaigns.
    • Identify and provide feedback on cost saving initiatives within area of control.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    • National Diploma in Safety Management, Environmental management/natural sciences or any other relevant three-year diploma is essential.
    • Bachelor’s degree in safety management, Environmental management/natural sciences is recommended
    • 1-2 years’ experience in Safety / Environmental / Risk Management / Occupational Health is essential.
    • Experience in construction Management is recommended
    • Experience in SHE management in an airport is recommended.
    • Valid Code B motor vehicle license.

    Engineering Manager Technology Management and Aviation Fuel Standards

    Job Description
    Key Performance Outputs

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Executive Capital Infrastructure and Asset Management  and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

    • Provide technical and professional support and expertise by assessing and analysing the required problems or needs in order to propose optimal technical solutions and recommendations for airports.
    • Compile management reports on SAF implementation, compliance to developed standards and training requirements regarding the adoption of standards and procedures
    • Accountable for development/maintenance of relevant policies in CIAM & AFBT, developing and managing business processes and procedures.
    • Identify, develop and propose appropriate advisory approach, solutions and deliverables based on specialist requirements in the area of aviation fuels.
    • Establish, monitor and manage healthy, diverse, workable internal and external relationships, including the interface with external providers to ensure departmental/functional needs are met, organisational goals achieved and implement remedial actions where required.
    • Compile, manage and account for relevant budgets according to business requirements and specifications.
    • Prepare clear and well-presented technical content for inclusion in key project documents, e.g. feasibility studies, technical specifications.
    • Develop/Adopt and standards and frameworks for supply and storage of aviation fuels and into plane activities.
    • Implement and manage people development processes such as performance management, succession planning and talent management to meet functional performance standards.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree (4 years – 480 credits) – Engineering discipline/Chemical/mechanical/Process - Essential

    Job Description
    Key Performance Outputs

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Executive Capital Infrastructure and Asset Management and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

    • Support development of a strategy for infrastructure and asset management that is integrated, multidisciplined and enables the long-term sustainability of the company’s assets and infrastructure.
    • Translate organisational goals applicable to area of responsibility as derived from business plan into clear direction, implement effectively and efficiently and ensure that appropriate remedial actions are taken.
    • Identify and apply viable technology and strategies to improve equipment efficiencies and lifestyle costing.
    • Ensure compliance of the appointed fuel operators to the signed operatorship and through putter agreements, in terms of contract obligations (maintenance regime, stock management, reporting, validity of insurance and other certificates, etc.)
    • Engage with appointed operators, through putters, fuel suppliers to maintain daily stock levels at fuel farms in compliance with contract obligations and license conditions.
    • Regularly review supply plans for airports’ fuel farms and in collaboration with suppliers and logistics providers and Transnet, identify and mitigate risks to security of fuel supply.
    • Provide guidance on Inventory Management in line with Supply Chain policies and specific spares strategies.
    • Engage with external stakeholders in industry - associations, regulatory bodies like NERSA, SOEs and government departments (DOT, DMRE) to support policy development, strategy formulation and identification of risks and opportunities in the aviation industry and for the country.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:

    • Bachelors Degree (4 years – 480 credits) – Engineering - Essential
    • Masters Degree – Engineering - Advantageous

    Cash in Transit Officer.INT ORT.Airport Operations (Airport Management)(P70001)

    Job Description
    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Revenue Control and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Check drainage requirements of all pay stations machines and drain machines. 
    • Ensure safe lock away of money bags at all times. 
    • Remove safes from the pay station machine. 
    • Ensure that empty safes are replaced after drainage. 
    • Ensure the correct operations of the CIMA machine and report discrepancies. 
    • Finalise banking process with cash in transit company including manual banking. 
    • Assist in proper handover to next shift. 
    • Participate in ad hoc services as and when required. 
    • Keep record of monies collected. 
    • Check, record and sign-off on all remaining money bags. 
    • Record transaction information on forms ang logs and escalate discrepancies accordingly. 
    • Counting of monies in conjunction with designated personnel in safe environment. 
    • Reconciliation of pay stations and banking of overs. 
    • Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices. 
    • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals. Implement remedial actions where required.
    • Engage and manage security service providers to ensure seamless and safe cash in transit. 
    • Effective assessment of risk factors to minimize risk of cash in transit heists or similar. 

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience will be required: 

    • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is essential
    • Risk Management Certificate is recommended
    • 1 year Cash in Transit operational experience is essential
    • 2 years Cash in Transit operational experience is recommended
    • Code-B motor vehicle licence 
    • Basic Proficiency in MS Office packages
