    Cleaner

    Purpose of the position

    • In your role as a cleaner you will be required to clean all areas of the office thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the staff and customer experience by having excellent standards of office cleanliness. Your role will also require you to support and assist the responsible manager in maintaining a safe and clean environment.

    Key Accountabilities (included but not limited to)
    Cleaning:

    • Clean all offices and meeting rooms: floors, desks, furniture, shelves, glass doors, windows (from inside) and surface of office equipment
    • Clean all common areas and storages: reception area, corridors, server room and filing room
    • Empty all wastepaper bins and shredder trays to the designated places
    • Ensure that furniture in offices, meeting rooms and reception area is arranged in the required manner at all times
    • Clearing and collecting used dishes and washing those, keeping kitchens clean and in order
    • Ensure that cleaning agents are stored safely and in safe quantities
    • Vacuum and shampoo carpets
    • Wipe down desks and chairs
    • Dusting of blinds
    • Ensure that the office kitchen and equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
    • Ensure that rooms are odour free
    • Telephones: Dusting of all telephones
    • Office equipment: Dusting & Wiping down of printers etc
    • Cleaning of the data lab equipment with precise care using the correct required cleaning materials
    • Floors are kept clean at all times
    • Spillages are cleaned up timeously
    • Office equipment, desks and chairs etc are free from dust build up
    • Trash cans are cleared twice daily & no trash build up is visible
    • Office furniture are not misplaced or untidy
    • Minimal build up of dishes at any time
    • The office maintains a clean outlook at all times on floors, desks, cupboards etc
    • No dust build up found on office furniture or equipment
    • Full adherence to cleaning specifications set out for cleaning of the data lab

    Facilities:

    • Ensure the waste/ trash is removed to the identified facility/ building site
    • Advising the office manager of any water related/ electricity / facility issues or concerns made aware of by the building
    • Assist with cleaning if maintenance or repairs are done within the office space by the facility management
    • Bulk waste is removed on a continuous basis according to the building/ facility routine
    • Adherence to any facility/ building rules regarding cleaning and maintenance
    • Requests made from management are done with an urgent priority

    Maintenance:

    • Report broken lights, switches, broken blinds and air conditioners to the office Manager
    • Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the Office Manager
    • Report any kitchen equipment, utensils missing, or when nonoperational
    • Repair queries are notified through the correct channels as a matter of urgency
    • Ensure office and kitchen equipment are always in a good working condition

    Routine:

    • Follow the daily schedule set by your line manager. i.e.what tasks to be done on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
    • Provision of tea and coffee to clients, visitors or upon the request of senior management
    • Assist in setting up meeting rooms, preparing cups, glasses and plates, water, tea and coffee
    • Adherence to a schedule as agreed upon with your manager
    • Able to purchase additional meeting requirements on behalf of a manager
    • Professionalism displayed in setting up meeting rooms/ catering set up

    Qualifications

    DREAMS Liaison and Referral Coordinator

    Purpose of the position

    • The DREAMS Liaison and Referral Co-ordinator is responsible for the implementation; linking, monitoring and management of community, district partner, Department of health (DoH) and BroadReach DREAMS intervention activities to ensure bidirectional referrals of AGYW and OVC between the facility based and community-based DREAMS service providers/partners. The DREAMS Liaison and Referral Co-ordinator works in accordance with relevant guidelines, compliance and audit criteria and stakeholder requirements. S/he serves as the liaison between DoH, District Partners, facilities, community and BroadReach.

    Key Accountabilities (included but not limited to)

    In your role as DREAMS Liaison and Referral Co-ordinator you will:

    • Have strong project coordination skills across single and multiple partners
    • Have strong management skills with experience in managing and coordinating internal and external parties
    • Be familiar with setting up and managing programmes
    • Tracking the linkage of all clients that were bi-directionally referred and the relevant reporting thereof
    • Coordinate and work with Government departments and other DREAMS partners and monitor and track MOU deliverables
    • Coordinate with all internal teams to ensure DREAMS deliverables
    • Support the Adolescent Youth Friendly Services (AYFS) across the DREAMS programme as AYFS point-of-contact, conduct AYFS sensitization, support the integration of AYFS across multiple departments and program areas (ISHP, GBV, Ante-natal, Family Planning, etc) and Support the establishment of facility and sub-district AYFS Technical Working Groups

    Qualifications
    Essential qualifications

    • Health or Social science degree preferable or relevant work experience (>5 years)

    Experience & Skills

    • At least five years’ HIV/ Youth or Prevention programs coordination and management experience in low-resource settings in South Africa.
    • Experience coordinating sub-grants/partners is preferable.
    • Strong project coordination skills across single and multiple partners
    • Strong management skills with experience in managing and coordinating internal and external parties
    • Experience in setting up and managing programmes
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Strong English written and oral communications skills
    • Valid driver’s license and own car
    • Flexibility to travel
