    Sales Co-ordinator

    Role Objective:

    • To support the Key Account Manager and oversee seamless execution of customer orders.

    Key Functional Areas:

    • Customer communication
    • Internal liaison
    • Administrational support

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee loading of orders (or assist loading when necessary) and order confirmation process
    • Assist with BOM sign-off and new product readiness
    • Drive sales order through the supply chain and keep customer informed
    • Assist KAM with internal departmental liaison
    • Ensure resolution of shortages or issues related to orders
    • Co-ordinating the sending of samples
    • Assist with gathering forecasts and required information from customers
    • Maintain customer databases
    • Ensure customer specific requirements are met, be it taking photos of containers, sending test results on raw materials etc
    • Co-ordinate payment and dispatch arrangement

    Education and Required Knowledge:

    • Grade 12 qualification with 2-5 years relevant experience
    • A Project Management short course (advantageous)
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Syspro knowledge is an advantage
    • Strong written communication and ability to convey information clearly and concisely

    Personal Characteristics:

    • Good work ethic
    • Highly organised, detail orientated and accurate
    • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
    • A proactive approach and able to use initiative
    • Willingness to learn new skills

    Key Account Manager/Account Manager

    • This role is perfect for a dynamic and experienced business developer with an understanding of the exciting intricacies of international trade and cross-continental customer service.   

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • To profitably grow the Cape Herb and Spice portfolio of private label and branded products in the international market. 

    Key Functional Areas: 

    • Commercial strategy development 
    • Drive strategy execution 
    • Business Development  
    • Customer liaison and relationship building  
    • Project Management 

    Education and Required Knowledge: 

    • 3 or 4 years (relevant) degree - Business degree advantageous 
    • Minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience in client liaison or business development role or  
    • Excellence in written and verbal communication 
    • Excel proficient 
    • Strong analytical skills 
    • Strong financial and numerical acumen 
    • Experienced commercial mindset 
    • Project Management skills
