• The Poetry team is currently searching for a Buyer’s Assistant to assist the buyers with product / sample management and administrative duties across the portfolio. The successful candidate should be a problem solver, organized, self-motivated, thrive under pressure, and have a keen eye for detail and design.
• The perfect candidate will be someone who is dynamic, has a keen eye for design, appreciates beauty and innovation, has great flare, is knowledgeable and a learner at heart and is pro-active in all aspects of the job.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide full time, comprehensive administrative support to buyers in all activities & product categories including fit sessions, range build, meetings, email queries and product briefs.
• Sample room and sample rail management
• Take ownership of Old Khaki ladies’ samples for sample sale and assist with Leisure sample sale set-up
• Arrange for samples to be sent to the E-comm team for photography ahead of the product launch date.
• Ensure that all products submitted to photography are uploaded onto the product image library.
• Assist with supplying product information for marketing and visual merchandising briefs
• Assist with the compiling of store reports and buyers Briefs
• Provide marketing with product information after seasonal shoots & prep samples for shoots
• Create a techpack framework on PLM for all seasonal styles
• Management of product approvals, sending approvals to suppliers ex lab dip approvals
• Set-up, prep and assist in meetings

Requirements

• Matric / Gr12
• Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
• Candidates who have 1- 2 years experience in a similar role will be given preference
• Computer literacy and Microsoft Office Proficiency is a must, excel advantageous
• Candidates with PLM experience will be given preference
• The ability to multitask and be organized is essential to the role
• Excel and Powerpoint proficiency would be beneficial
