    Clerk: Pick Wave - PE Mondelez Coega - Port Elizabeth

    Job Purpose 

    • Administrative function/support within the Picking Department

    Key areas of responsibility include:

    • To close out and release shipments within the agreed time
    • Release shipments to ensure continuity of MHE
    • Assist with the Pick Variance Report
    • Compliance to SOP's
    • View loads on shipment and release according to loading times
    • To ensure that orders are picked to completion
    • If operationally required assist where needed within the operation
    • Comply with safety rules
    • Report and assist with problems regarding short picks or other stock/waving issues
    • Adherence to Health & Safety rules
    • Adhere to the units SHERQ rules and best practices
    • Allocate work schedule to the relevant MHE operators
    • Communicate load schedule and escalate discrepancies to Supervisor/Controller/Manager
    • Publish daily work schedule to the Planners/CSO
    • Sign all relevant documentation with regard to consignments i.e., delivery notes, CHEP document, security seal document etc
    • Log system issues timeously to APAC to ensure escalation receives the required priority, P1 - P4
    • Ensure no short picks occur before releasing tasks for picking
    • Always wear the company uniform with pride, ensuring that the uniform is clean and presentable
    • Ensure compliance to Invoice (Re-prints)
    • Timeous and accurate completion of tasks
    • Ensure that all work areas are kept neat and tidy

    Qualifications

    Logistician - (Assembly, CMW And Engine Plant) - Uitenhage

    Job Purpose 

    • Ensure adherence to the company's rules and regulations as documented in the company's disciplinary policy.
    • Ensure that housekeeping is maintained in your work area and work station.
    • Ensure safe work practices as defined during Induction and other Health and Safety related training i.e. Factory regulation, to wear correctEnsure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures in the area.
    • Report any defects, queries and unresloved issues to Team Leader or Supervisor for resolution.
    • Ensure that all checklist are filled in correctly and on time in line with Standard Operating Procedure
    • Perform e-kanban counter counts.
    • Perform master data checks.
    • Perform any other duties as and when it arise.

    Requirement 

    • 2-3 years previous experience in Supply Chain environment - preferably road transport industry experience
    • Good written and verbal communication and understanding of basic mathematical principles.

    Reach Truck Driver CMW (Uitenhage)

    Job Purpose:   
    To maintain stock levels of the pick, intermediate a frame and bulk locations areas by picking and replenishing in accordance with the system generated document/scanner as per SOP. Ensure scanning is done in sequence and maintain targets within each cycle.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Ensure that you adhere to the company’s rules and regulations as documented in the Code of Conduct.
    • Ensure that housekeeping is maintained in your work area.
    • Ensure safe work practice as define during Induction and other related Health & Safety Training.
    • Perform Reach Truck inspection on your Reach Truck at the start and end of each shift.
    • Complete Motorized Equipment Checklist and Damage Control Form.
    • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating sheet and / or Procedure requirements.
    • Operate required scanners.
    • Any other reasonable and executable tasks within your vocational ability, assigned by the Superior.

                                                                                                                            
    Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:

    • Matric with (English and Math’s) 
    • Two years previous work experience
    • Accredited Reach Truck driver’s license
