    Video Wall Operator

    The incumbent would be responsible for creating and operating sequential graphics for display on the video wall during live and pre-recorded productions.

    • Preparation
      • Prepare the video wall graphics as per running order.
      • Loading and testing the rundown.
      • Ensuring that all the graphic elements are loaded and play out correctly.
      • Running on air tests when required.
      • Checking all graphics before going on air.
    • Production
      • Create effects for video wall use.
      • Route live feeds to the video wall.
      • Play out video wall elements as per running order, during live and pre-recorded programme.
    • Design
      • Have the ability to design on Photoshop.
      • Conceptualise graphical elements for use on the video wall.
      • Come up with new designs in conjunction with the rest of the Graphics Team.
      • Complete graphic requests using the applicable system.

    Qualifications

    • National Senior Certificate - Essential
    • 3-year National Diploma in Graphic Design / Broadcast - Essential
    • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design / Broadcast - Recommended

    Experience

    • 3 years' experience in Graphic Design within Television / Live Broadcast - Essential
    • Drivers License - Recommended

    Computer Literacy

    • MS Office Suite - Basic
    • Viz Artist - Basic
    • Photoshop - Intermediate

    Producer

    The incumbent would be required to ensure all technical aspects of the bulletin are met. To assist with producing creative and compelling content for the Channel.

    Supervisor: Production

    The incumbent would be required to oversee production operations & guarantee that production remains a smooth and efficient process by supervising and organizing workflows.

      • Ensure all copy deadlines are met timeously.
      • Facilitate the booking of production studios
      • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by manager.
    • Station Imaging
      • Develop & implement a sound and audio strategy in alignment with the brands strategy.
      • Ensure all Station & show Imaging is produced in consultation with the Content Manager.
      • Ensure station voices are aligned with the brands strategy.
      • Monthly refresh of station imaging according to production calendar.
      • Monitor worldwide production trends.
      • Manage & regularly update the stations audio library.
      • Ensure recording & scheduling of regulatory BCCSA PSA's.
    • Commercial
      • Implement copy briefs & ensure campaign objectives are met according to client requirements.
      • Facilitate the production of commercial elements.
      • Approval of all commercial copy.
      • Oversee all commercial recording sessions.
      • Facilitate the production of demo audio for client presentations & proposals.
      • Select & book suitable voice-over artists.
    • Administration
      • Supply monthly reports to Line Manager.
      • Manage all voice over invoices

    Qualifications

    National Diploma and/or Degree in Radio and/or Production and/or Media Studies

    Experience

    3 – 4 years experience in Radio and/or Production and/or Media

    Account Executive

    The incumbent would be required to sell media opportunities to agency clients and maintain good customer and staff relationships, both internally and externally.

    Here's what you can expect to be doing in the role:

    1. Achieve monthly targets
    2. Grow the allocated portfolio in terms of revenue received in 2022

    Key Performance Indicators :

    • Maintain and grow the existing client base as per agreed targets.
    • Submit weekly activity reports relating to meetings, target status and plans to achieve the agreed targets.
