    Supervisor: Production

    The incumbent would be required to oversee production operations & guarantee that production remains a smooth and efficient process by supervising and organizing workflows.

    • Interpersonal and team relationships
      • Build, support and maintain interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.
    • Personal development
      • Complete Individual Development Plan.
      • Attend learning and development courses.
      • Participate in peer and team learning initiatives.
    • Compliance
      • Comply with work rules, standards and methods.
    • Supervising
      • Manage the quality of all station copywriting & production elements.
      • Supervise and monitor workflow of Production Engineers & Junior Copywriter.
      • Supervise station voice/s.
      • Supervise & schedule technical producers.
      • Ensure station’s audio content is uploaded on the app.
      • Direct & Facilitate the production of daily on-air promos.
      • Facilitate all production recordings.
      • Set daily/weekly/monthly tasks & objectives to be completed by production team.
      • Manage the processes and systems for copy and production in the company.
      • Ensure all copy deadlines are met timeously.
      • Facilitate the booking of production studios
      • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by manager.
    • Station Imaging
      • Develop & implement a sound and audio strategy in alignment with the brands strategy.
      • Ensure all Station & show Imaging is produced in consultation with the Content Manager.
      • Ensure station voices are aligned with the brands strategy.
      • Monthly refresh of station imaging according to production calendar.
      • Monitor worldwide production trends.
      • Manage & regularly update the stations audio library.
      • Ensure recording & scheduling of regulatory BCCSA PSA's.
    • Commercial
      • Implement copy briefs & ensure campaign objectives are met according to client requirements.
      • Facilitate the production of commercial elements.
      • Approval of all commercial copy.
      • Oversee all commercial recording sessions.
      • Facilitate the production of demo audio for client presentations & proposals.
      • Select & book suitable voice-over artists.
    • Administration
      • Supply monthly reports to Line Manager.
      • Manage all voice over invoices

    Qualifications

    National Diploma and/or Degree in Radio and/or Production and/or Media Studies

    Experience

    3 – 4 years experience in Radio and/or Production and/or Media
