    Gaming Technician

    Job Description

    • Responsible to investigate, audit and identify gaming product deviations and effect advanced repairs and product configuration to all gaming related equipment, in line with internal professional standards and gaming regulations.

    Job Requirements

    Gaming Product

    • Refer to the work output task register for detailed tasks
    • Cleaning, servicing, replacing, repairing, testing components of EGMS, Gaming Kiosks,
    • Displays, Online systems, cabling, progressives, card reader, keypads, IView screen, note acceptor, EGM bases, Gaming Table Equipment, Signage, cashiering equipment, marketing and promotional equipment, audio/ video
    • Record and prioritise all job cards
    • Move and place EGMs
    • Configure gaming equipment
    • Knowledge sharing on gaming products
    • Writing technical manuals as per operational requirements

    Gaming Technical Standards

    • Clean-up move location
    • Keep workshop tidy and safe
    • Clean, store and secure equipment

    Customer Service

    • Investigate and resolve customer disputes
    • Provides accurate guest information including promotional information
    • Greets guests with a friendly smile, eye contact on arrival, friendly goodbye and treated with respect at all times
    • Guest Interaction and Service
    • Contact suppliers for technical support where relevant

    Audits and Investigations

    • Auditing and investigating (Refer to the work output task register)
    • Jackpot exceptions
    • Count variances
    • Machine performance checks
    • Other auditing as per operational requirements
    • Reports variances and make recommendations
    • Communicate and follow-up to ensure all corrective actions are implemented

    Reporting & Administration

    Analytical Reports: (Including but not limited to)

    • Shift reports
    • Month end Feedback reports
    • Note acceptor reports
    • Card acceptance reports
    • Suspicious meter movement reports
    • Card update failures
    • Network stats checks
    • Captures relevant data
    • Ensures RGP information is displayed

    Minimum requirements (Education and Experience) 

    • N5 National Electronic Certificate (light current) with  relevant experience or
    • S2 or National Electronic Diploma (light current) or
    • Equivalent qualification
    • 1 year experience as a technician will be an advantage
    • Experience in the gaming industry is preferred
    • Meet the requirements for a gaming licence and FICA

    Work conditions and special requirements

    • Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements
    • Physically able to work and stand for long periods of time
    • Physically able to move machines

    PR Communications CoOrd

    Job Purpose

    • Responsible for the planning, co-ordination and implementation of PR, content and communication initiatives and events respectively to enhance the image and reputation for the business unit’s brand as the entertainment and casino establishment of choice. 

    Key Performance Areas

    Public Relations/Communication Co-Ordination

    • Check all public communication from a company perspective to ensure brand is promoted and maintained.
    • Plan, co-ordinate and host media launches, events and activations.
    • Regularly communicate with media and other partners to keep them up-to date with expectations and events information.
    • Research and distribute correct protocols for events involving participants of varying cultures and prestige.
    • Write communication and messaging to be distributed to guests, the media and internally to staff.
    • Be present during events and activations to ensure a seamless execution in line with plans.
    • Compile comprehensive communication plan to brief all stakeholders with the detail of the events and activations.
    • Collaborate with Group Digital and co-ordinate and finalise digital, social media and online (website/newsletters) content in line with the social calendar.
    • Meet & Greets with guests and VIPs.
    • Planning, organising and implementation of events, activations, launches etc.
    • Design and co-ordinate content briefs (Sun Radio, collateral, brochures etc).
    • Co-ordinate and attend Commercial filming and photoshoots.
    • Co-ordinate and execute site inspections for the business unit as required.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Co-ordinate and consolidate content from the various marketing and other functional areas with regards the development and delivery of internal communication messaging around events, promotions and other initiatives to all staff to ensure cohesive messaging aligned to corporate brand and corporate culture.
    • Meet with functional managers to understand briefs for content creation and requirements.
    • Co-ordinate PR / communication functions / set-up requirements between multiple departments.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders (including the media, agencies, etc). and co-ordinate requirements.
    • Follow-up with suppliers, agencies on the delivery of PR outcomes (consumer and corporate) in line with brief requirements.

    • Think and apply business acumen and sound common sense in the implementation of multiple, at time substantially different procedures, standards and precedents.
    • Interprets customer requirements in terms of services available and the applicable constraints

    Job Requirements

    Education

    • Grade 12. 
    • 1–2-year Diploma in Marketing / PR / Communication is preferred. 

    Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing.
    • Exposure in the gaming industry is preferred.

    Compliance Lead (Sunbet)

    Job Description

    • The Compliance Lead is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of SunBet’s compliance programme. This role ensures that all operations adhere to applicable gambling regulations, licensing conditions, internal policies and industry standards.
    • The Compliance Lead provides operational guidance to teams, monitors adherence to controls, assists in regulatory reporting and audits and escalates risks or incidents to senior management.
    • While responsible gambling policies are owned at the group level, the Compliance Lead supports their local execution and helps safeguard player welfare. This role contributes to a culture of integrity, accountability and ethical conduct throughout the business.

    Job Scope & Responsibilities

    • Monitor and interpret relevant gambling legislation, licensing conditions, and regulatory updates across jurisdictions.
    • Ensure company policies, procedures, and operations remain fully compliant with applicable laws.
    • Maintain a regulatory change management process, including impact assessments and implementation tracking.
    • Develop and maintain compliance frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory risks.
    • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments, reporting findings to senior leadership.
    • Develop and execute a compliance monitoring programme, including control testing, thematic reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
    • Track remediation actions and ensure timely closure of compliance issues. 
    • Support the implementation of group-level responsible gambling policies, standards and tools within the business.
    • Monitor adherence to responsible gambling requirements in day-to-day operations, flagging gaps or risks.
    • Act as a liaison between the business unit and Group teams on player protection matters.
    • Assist customer service and product teams in applying responsible gambling controls (e.g., exclusions, limits, alerts).
    • Escalate potential problem gambling cases, incidents, or control failures in line with group protocols.
    • Contribute to reporting on responsible gambling metrics and compliance performance.
    • Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
    • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
    • Track and report on compliance training completion and effectiveness in conjunction with Learning & Development.
    • Act as the primary point of contact with regulators, auditors and external compliance bodies, escalate matters to the HOD.
    • Provide clear guidance and support to internal teams on compliance-related matters.
    • Provide internal support in contract management process (advantageous).
    • Investigate compliance breaches, customer complaints, or regulatory inquiries.
    • Maintain a breach and incident register, classifying material vs non-material events.
    • Perform root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
    • Prepare timely reports and dashboards for leadership, highlighting trends, risks and KPIs.
    • Maintain and implement business unit compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with group standards.
    • Support periodic review and updating of policies to reflect regulatory or operational changes.

    • Support expansion into new markets by ensuring compliance readiness and licensing requirements are met.
