    Facilities Engineer-A

    Job Description

    • Drafting of the engineering designs using the appropriate software relevant to the required project specification.
    • To ensure timeous updated/revised engineering designs in line with Plant specifications.
    • 3D design work.
    • Update of Plant Building drawings.
    • Design according to set specifications and Ford standards to keep within required quality specifications.
    • Preparing drawings from the engineer's design and approve technical drawings.
    • Validate modifications
    • Prepare civil works for machines installation
    • Raise and implement projects to improve layout and pedestrian improvements and issue PIR’s and orders 
    • Conduct technical review of recaps ensuring  accomplishment of Ford Engineering Spec and local regulations
    • Review and approve new technologies, materials and components.
    • Review new installations in new programs participating in launch team reviews
    • Coordinate and support of vendor installations in plant
    • Owns overall layout coordination for shutdown activities.
    • Prepares and issues Annual Plant Floor Space Report.
    • Responsible for developing preventative maintenace procedures and  ensuring adherance on all plant facilities and equipment.
    • As far as reasonably practicible ensure a safe environment and adherance to OSH-ACT (Act #85 of 1993). Specific emphasis on  Construction regulations, Facilities regulations, General machinery regulations, Driven machinery  regulations, Electrical machinery regulations, Electrical installation regulations, Pressure equipment regulations. 
    • Develop and use process confirmation to ensure adherance in all areas.

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4
    • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical/Electrical/Architectural/CAD Draughting is required.
    • 3 years of Draughting experience in an engineering environment.
    • 3 years applicable software experience: CAD, OneDes, MicroStation, DAD or other related software.
    • Knowledge of drawing procedures and specifications.

    Zone Manager-Eastern Cape

    Responsibilities & Outcomes: 

    • Conduct regular DP, Service, Parts Manager meetings to drive key initiatives, track process gaps to closure, as well as continuous improvements overall.
    • Support Dealers with regards to profitability and business development to grow operations for aftersales.
    • Effectively communicate, drive implementation of, monitor performance, meet and raise the bar on all objectives, incentives, terms and programmes at dealerships
    • Analyze financial information to support Dealers to maximize on business opportunities and revenue generation.
    • Delivery monthly parts revenue (sell-out) targets across network of Ford Dealers 
    • Grow Retail and Wholesale business through targeted initiatives and campaigns
    • Scaling of various Customer Convenience initiatives for long and short-term business growth
    • Achieve retention objective through delivering retention growth in various vehicle age categories identified as business priorities
    • Meet or exceed the various customer satisfaction targets, including but not limited to Net Promotor Score, Customer Experience Index, Fixed Right First Time and Vehicle Off Road
    • Develop, implement, monitor and raise the bar on any non-performing Dealers through implementation of corrective action plans
    • Grow vehicle personalization or accessories business
    • Improve Dealer Satisfaction in support of DSI measurement performance 

    Business management

    • Support onboarding of any new Dealer onto new systems, integration and associated processes through collaboration with various stakeholders on implementation is issue resolution. 
    • Guard the Ford Brand image in accordance with Company policy requirements input as per Market Rep plan.
    • Facility (advise, counsel in conjunction with Dealer Development Manager who takes the lead to follow up on Dealer plans)
    • Dealership parts and service staff levels (review/advice and counsel)

    Compliance

    • Ensure compliance and adherence to all aftersales systems, policies and procedures. 

    Collaboration & Partnerships: 

    • Work closely with PS&L, SEO and Regional Skills Teams to ensure alignment of strategies and sharing of best practice 
    • Participate in or lead projects that involve multiple departments, promoting integration and cohesion across the organisation.
    • Engage with key stakeholders - including suppliers - to understand their needs and provide solutions that support the overall mission of the team.

    QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

    • Degree or National Higher Diploma in a relevant field (Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Communications, Engineering, Supply Chain)
    • 3+ years’ experience within the Automotive industry and / or automotive Dealership environment in a business consulting or operational role is a must.
    • Experience in an automotive Aftermarket parts and service environment, OEM Aftersales environment and/or OE Dealer field role will be a definitive advantage.
    • High competency and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Fluency and proficiency in English is a must

    Technical Trainer (Mechatronics-Technologist Millwright)

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

    • Must have completed a Mechatronics Learnership (NQF Level 4) plus a Trade Certificate in Electro-Mechanician
    • Must have completed N6 in electrical or mechanical engineering. 
    • 3 to 4 years’ experience as a trainer
    • Assessor qualification.
    • Moderator qualification.
    • Facilitation (Train-the-Trainer) qualification.
    • Coaching experience.
    • Mentoring experience.
    • Knowledge of ODETDP would be an advantage.
    • Understanding of SAQA, NQF, MerSETA, Learnerships and Apprentice modular training
