    Team Leader (North West)

    Description
    PURPOSE

    • To assist the supervisor to lead and comply to all safety and production Procedures.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Take responsible of all tools issued to the team.
    • Supervise and coordinate the team.
    • Liaise with supervisor regarding the work plan.
    • Inspect the designated area of responsibility on a daily basis.
    • Understand and keep track of client needs.
    • Ensure and record time and attendance.
    • Ensure discipline.
    • Ensure the team is issued with PPE and they wear it correctly.
    • Make sure team meets production targets.
    • Must be able to communicate in English and write it.

    Requirements
    QUALIFICATION

    • Grade 12.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 2 years' experience as a general worker in tailings.

    SKILLS, ABILITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    • Ability to operate without the supervisor.
    • Must be able to manage the team.
    • Must be responsible and accountable.
    • Must be medically fit.
    • Driver's license will be an added advantage.

    Operations Supervisor (North West)

    Description
    PURPOSE

    • An exciting opportunity exists to ensure that several tasks are carried out on site to safety, environment and productivity, and assist management with the efficient and effective running of the site.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Business / Functional Management.
    • Execute operational and technical duties in line with organisational directives, as provided.
    • Support implementation of business initiatives as directed.
    • Financial, Commercial and Contracts Management.
    • Work with materials and equipment in a cost-effective way, as per standard operating procedures and practice notes as directed.
    • Ensure full compliance to material usage requirements in executing duties.
    • Risk Management and Compliance, Including Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) Responsibility.
    • Execute all duties in strict compliance to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) policies, procedures and legislation, to ensure the company’s responsibility is met comply is met.
    • Comply with all reporting and information requirements.
    • Stakeholder Management (Internal and External).
    • Ensure professional interaction with stakeholders.
    • Maintain working relationships with support functions on site and at head office, as required to deliver in their section against standard.
    • Engage with peers and seniors on the project to ensure project objectives are achieved as per instruction.
    • Operations and Project Management.
    • Contribute to plan / schedule generation for daily / shift work, in line with project goals.
    • Responsible for operational execution of work, through delivery of own tasks and duties, as well as supervision of the work for the team on shift.
    • Management Operating Systems and Reporting.
    • Ensure all paperwork and posters are displayed on the site office wall and kept up to date.
    • Ensure all reported near misses are recorded following procedure and submitted weekly.

    Technical Management

    • Responsible for adherence to technical standards and work methods, for section, in accordance with organisational and client requirements, policies, procedures and legislation.

    SHEQ Management

    • Check sums are right on plan drawings and quantities and that all materials and work are to the specifications.
    • Record the condition of plant arriving on site on a form with photographs.

    People Management

    • Lead and manage team.
    • Support, guide and coach team.

    Culture and Climate

    • Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement for the duration of the project.
    • Align with client culture requirements as directed by management.

    Requirements
    QUALIFICATIONS

    • National Diploma in Civil/ Industrial/ metallurgy Engineering / B Tech in Civil Engineering.

    EXPERIENCE

    • At least one to two year’s tailings deposition experience working in a mining / tailing's environment or construction environment.

    TLB Operator (North West)

    Description
    PURPOSE

    • Perform the task of digging and loading of materials as per company SOP/STP.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Digging and loading of materials.
    • Levelling using the bucket.
    • Cleaning using the bucket.
    • Perform Adhoc work as and when required.
    • Performing the task in accordance with relevant safety rules, regulations and job site conditions.
    • Conducting of a walk around inspection.
    • Reporting all defects.
    • Completion of pre–start checklist.
    • General Housekeeping of Excavator machine.

    Requirements
    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum Grade10/Grade 12 equivalent.
    • National Driver's License code 10.
    • Valid Competency Certificate of an TLB Machine.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Approximately 3 years relevant work experience in an earthmoving environment.
    • Familiar with mining equipment and safety related standards i.e. Excavator.

    • Communication skills (verbal & written).
    • Ability to operate independently.
    • Planning & problem-solving skills.

    General Worker (Limpopo)

    Description
    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with team leader / supervisor to achieve planned operational targets.
    • Perform inspections on designated area of responsibility every day.
    • Planning and managing of tailings material on site and at depositing areas.
    • Assist with problem solving on operational challenges and report any deviations to the immediate supervisor.
    • Adhering to discipline procedures in accordance with the Company’s Policies and Procedures.
    • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as per all safety legislation and company procedures.
    • Extending and connecting of pipelines.
    • Opening and closing of valves in line with operational standards.
    • Take responsibility for your performance.
    • Ensure good housekeeping at all times.

    Requirements
    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent

    • 0-2 years relevant work experience in tailings.

    GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be able to understand the relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Medically fit to work in the mining environment.
    • Must be able undergo and pass the mine’s criminal screening process.
    • May be required to work overtime from time to time.
