    Sales Executive New Vehicles - Hyundai Tygervalley

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    • Develop the business to reach set sales targets for the month.
    • Drive specific strategies to retain and grow the existing customer base.
    • Manage customer expectations to ensure effective delivery of service.
    • Total commitment to achieving sales targets and growth by venturing and creating opportunities using own skills.
    • Identify and venture into new revenue streams.

    Workshop Foreman (Hyundai Plumstead)

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    Directly responsible to:

    • Service Manager

    Responsible for:

    • Customer Satisfaction, Workshop Technicians/Diagnosticians, Mechanics, Apprentices, Quality Controller/Tester, Workshop Cleaner, Diagnostic and Repair Equipment, Tools, Gauges and Measuring Equipment.

    Relationships with:

    • Customers, Service Manager, Service Staff, Sales Manager, Parts Manager, Sales Staff, Parts Staff, Manufacturer's Representatives, other Representatives, Health and Safety Officer.

    Improved Profitability:

    • To ensure maximum effective use of equipment and labour ensuring high productivity output.
    • To ensure minimum wastage of consumable materials.
    • To ensure all chargeable materials are recorded on job cards for invoicing purposes.

    Customer Satisfaction:

    • To ensure a customer-satisfying level of service and repair quality.
    • To ensure the vehicles cleanliness is maintained during service and repair.

    Health and Safety

    • To ensure safe and reliable use and maintenance of equipment.
    • To ensure staff take all precautions necessary to effect health and safety in the workshop.
    • To ensure customers are protected from any possible dangers or hazards in the workshop.

    LIMITS OF AUTHORITY 

    Capital Expenditure:- 

    • No purchasing authority. 

    Other Expenditure:- 

    • To procure equipment and tools necessary for the efficient running of the workshop To procure consumable materials 
    • To authorise some non-chargeable rectification of work to be carried in line with company policy. 
    • No staff engagement or dismissal authority. 
    • To discipline workshop staff on routine matters. 

    MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS5.

    Staff:

    • To ensure staff are trained to enable high levels of quality and efficiency.
    • To ensure jobs are fairly and correctly allocated to technicians and mechanics.
    • To supervise tests and ensure correct use of equipment and document security. To ensure all job sheets are correctly written up and forwarded to the cost office for pricing.

    Security:

    • Ensure customers' property is secure.
    • Ensure all materials and parts drawn from the Parts Department are accounted for.
    • Ensure all equipment and documentation is accounted for.
    • To ensure all warranty work, documentation and materials are accounted for.

    Administration:

    • To ensure progress of jobs through the workshop.
    • To authorise consumable and internal parts requisitions.
    • To authorise any non-productive time spent on vehicles or in the workshop.
    • To ensure health and safety procedures are observed and maintained at all times.
    • To circulate new and up-to-date manuals and literature for new vehicles or techniques..

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Qualified Technician - 2-3 years experience as a Workshop Foreman.

    Commercial Sales Executive (Hyundai N1 City)

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Conducting research and prospecting
    • Identifying new business opportunities
    • Concluding sales contracts
    • Developing working relationships with others and building a relationship with trucks body builders
    • To ensure that the trucks body builders are OEM approved
    • Performing administrative duties

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be currently employed as a Commercial Sales Executive and at least 2 years or more
    • A successful sales track record, with networking and cold calling as an integral part of the process
    • The ideal candidate would someone with excellent networking and negotiating skills (able to go out and source new business)
    • Existing data base (advantageous)
    • Valid SA driver’s license Code 10 and up is essential

    Technician (Hyundai Germiston)

    Key Responsibilities And Duties

    • Repair and service motor vehicles according to Motus standards and specifications Requirements Of Key Duties And Responsibilities
    • Repair and service vehicles according to specific or franchise specifications
    • Establish parts required for service or repairs to be performed and ensure the correct parts are ordered
    • Report to Foreman / Service Advisor promptly on any additional work required
    • Obtain authorisation prior to carrying out additional work
    • Obtain technical information from Foreman / Master Technician on problem jobs
    • Adhere to Motus workshop policies and procedures
    • Ensure that all old parts are placed in a plastic bag in the boot of the vehicle, except in the case of warranty work where old parts must be returned to the Warranty Clerk
    • Ensure that all oils and consumables used are recorded on the job card
    • Ensure that worked hours are clocked correctly
    • Ensure that the vehicle is kept as clean as possible and that all seat and fender covers are clean
    • Do not leave keys in an unattended vehicle
    • Ensure that work bay is kept safe, clean and tidy
    • Report any faulty / broken equipment to the Foreman / Workshop Manager
    • Ensure that special tools and equipment are used according to safety regulations and specifications
    • Ensure that hand tools set conforms to Motus standard
    • Accept responsibility for apprentice and impart as much technical knowledge to him as possible through explanation, practice and the monitoring of work, including rectifying faults
    • Reasonable requests by Management outside your job description will be performed from time to time
