    Payroll Manger

    Requirements:

    • Honours degree in Finance with HR subjects 
    • 8-10 years' relevant experience in Finance, with strong payroll exposure in a managerial-related role involving discrete handling of sensitive, confidential information 
    • Experience in the mining environment highly advantageous 
    • Fluency in French and English is a must

    Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to: 
    Process: to manage Ivanhoe's Payroll function 

    • Enable Payroll Strategy implementation 
    • Drive the accuracy and integrity of the Ivanhoe Payroll process 
    • Lead and man age Payroll reporting 
    • Function as a Payroll subject matter expert

    Site Coordinator X1 REF:IVP-PLNT-2502

    Suitable candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • National Diploma in Business Administration will be advantageous

    • Responsible for managing the day-to day activities of our site, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining a safe, well-organized environment 
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company polices 
    • Manage and run operations different shifts and ensure that any rotating shifts are taken into account approves time sheets bu coordinating efforts with project managers
    • Assist new staff members in understanding and creating timesheets to log their hours timely 
    • Communicate regularly with project managers and team members 
    • Oversee site staff and provide guidance and support as needed 
    • Monitor site inventory and manage procurement of supplies
    • Handle scheduling and ensure timely completion of tasks
    • Facilitate effective communication between different departments
    • Address any arising issues and troubleshoot problems on-site
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to site activities 
    • Organize and lead regular team meetings and briefings

    Induction Facilitator x1 ref IVP-HRD

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Grade 12
    • ODETDP qualifications would be advantageous
    • Basic knowledge of the mining industry
    • Occupational health and safety standards
    • Facilitation skills and qualifications

    Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

    • 1 years' experience in facilitation 
    • MD Office Experience and computer literate 
    • Must ensure all attendees complete the induction register 
    • Facilitate all the induction material, giving extra focus to those employees that don't understand concepts
    • Oversee the CBT induction process and assessment, including marking when required 
    • Complete the induction process flow, which allows access to the mine. 

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Compliance and application of Sect 22 and 23 of the Mine Health and Safety Act 
    • Always observing health and safety regulations
    • Responsible for the housekeeping of the induction venue 
    • Return attendance sheets and evaluation forms to the Training Administrator 
    • Set up the training room ready for delegates 
    • Prepare certificates and pass out documentation for staff completed induction and send out to sites

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • ETDP Lev 3/4 and Registered Assessor qualifications 
    • Code 8 driver's license 
    • Experience in TMM machines 
    • Supervisory and Interpretation 
    • Computer literacy (MS Office packages)
    • Managing internal disciplinary proceedings 
    • Technical/ Professional Competence 

    Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

    • At least five years’ experience in a HRD Mechanized Mining environment, of which two years in a role as competent TMM operator.
    • Experience as TMM Operator\

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Provides input into workforce and succession planning.
    • Supports line management in the training requirement of approved Standard operating procedures and MCOP’s, establishing competence for role and organizational culture.
    • Executed operational mining skills development for competency.
    • Ensure consistent and fair application of discipline within the area of responsibility.
    • Training resources in compliance with best practice, execute and deliver Generic Induction.
    • Comply to the required control and information systems and to track the operation performance.
    • Promotes Corporate Governance and Company policies and procedures.
    • Initiates activities that build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention. 
    • Interprets human resources policies and procedures and provides guidance to employees and management on such

    • Must have thorough knowledge and experience in ISO 9001:2015

    • At least five years’ experience in a Trackless mining environment, of which two years in a HRD role and competent TMM operator experience.

    • Grade 12.
    • NQF Level 5 OD ETDP Higher Certificate or equivalent qualification.
    • Assessor and Moderator Certificate registered with MQA.
    • At least five years HRD and related experience
    • Blasting Ticket
    • Shiftboss Course will be advantageous
    • Mine Overseer Certificate will be Advantageous
    • Competent in mine HRD and HR systems and related legislation.

    • Competent and experienced in process / procedure design and learning material development.

    Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

    • At least five years HRD experience, of which two years in specialist Mechanized Mining.
    • Experience in Project Management will be advantageous.
    • Managing internal disciplinary proceedings and managing union relationships.
    • Designing, implementation and maintenance of the LMS system.
    • Have a good understanding of the Skills Development Legislation and Regulation and HRD Governance, Risk and Compliance.
    • Must have experience with alignment of the Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report
    • Code 08 driver’s licence.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Annual skills plan and revisions
    • HRD People Development systems and courses/programs required by the operation.
    • Setting up HRD People Development projects
    • Structuring and resourcing HRD People Development related initiatives
    • Financial expenditure within agreed parameters
    • Identifying employees suitable for further training related to the role.
    • Maintaining and compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and MQA/QCTO accreditation
    • Progressive reports on predetermined targets for skills development.
    • Relationships with relevant stakeholders.
