Primary purpose of the job:

• Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, this position requires the services of an individual to ensure that customer requirements are met with regards to geometry and quality of the product delivered

Key Performance Areas:

• Quality systems and concepts

• Customer specific requirements
• Understanding of a measuring report (robotic assembly of steel and aluminium automotive components)
• Core Tool: FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control plans and Six Sigma Green Belt

• Computer skills: MS Projects & MS Excel
• Geometric: Analysis and implementation of corrective actions - Robotic assembly (parameter control and analysis)

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12/NQF Level 4
• National Diploma in Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering
• Tertiary qualification in TQM
• Qualified Toolmaker/Millwright will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of quality experience within the automotive environment
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience within the automotive environment
• Minimum 3 years working experience in the use of Quality Core Tools: SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control plans & Six Sigma Green Belt

Job Description

• MA Automotive Tool & Die (Pty) Ltd produces steel and aluminium stampings & assemblies for automotive OEM’s in South Africa. The majority of South African  manufactured vehicles are exported internationally, so quality requirements are demanding.

• MS Office.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed NQF 6/7 Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology.
