We are seeking a dynamic Investment Relations & Fund Manager / Distribution professional to drive retail capital raising, build and manage relationships with financial advisers and investors, oversee the investor onboarding journey, and support the growth of the fund through exceptional client engagement and distribution initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team, gain exposure to capital markets, and accelerate your career while benefiting from a competitive salary, a lucrative commission structure, and a hybrid working model.

    Responsibilities
    Investor Relations

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for IFAs, wealth managers, tax practitioners, and direct HNW investors.
    • Handle inbound queries on fund structure, investment mechanics, tax treatment, and returns – timing, accuracy, and professionalism are important.
    • Manage LP onboarding end-to-end: FICA, subscription documents, SARS confirmations, and post-investment correspondence.
    • Proactively communicate fund updates, deployment milestones, and any material developments to investors.

    Distribution Support

    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key distribution partners.

    Pipeline & Administration

    • Maintain CRM and pipeline tracker with zero missed follow-ups or outstanding items.
    • Track intermediary engagement, investor commitments, and subscription status across all channels.
    • Coordinate with fund administration on documentation workflows and compliance requirements.
    • Prepare weekly pipeline reports and capital raise status updates.
    • Ensure no email, callback, or commitment falls through the cracks.

    Materials & Presentations

    • Prepare investor presentations, fund documentation, one-pagers, and updated slide decks.
    • Maintain accurate, current versions of all fund documentation and ensure consistency across channels.
    • Assist with LP communications, quarterly updates, and ad hoc investor letters.

    Fund Raise Operations

    • Flag risks, delays, or investor concerns to the CFO early and proactively.
    • Manage workload independently under tight deadlines.

    Direct-to-Market Channel Build

    • Lead the build-out of a direct-to-market investor acquisition channel, reducing reliance on third-party intermediaries over time.
    • Own the direct investor journey end-to-end, from first enquiry through FICA, subscription, and funding, with the same rigour applied to intermediary-sourced investors.
    • Track direct-channel performance separately from intermediary channels to provide clear reporting on unit economics and channel mix over time.
    • Operational Infrastructure for Onboarding & Channel Management
    • Build and own the systems (CRM, pipeline tracker, document workflows) required to onboard and manage both investors and distribution channels at scale.
    • Standardise onboarding workflows across channels, including FICA, subscription documentation, and SARS confirmation, ensuring consistency and reducing reliance on institutional knowledge.
