    Junior Sales Rep

    Purpose of the role:

    • To maintain acceptable efficiency standards of Sales, offer outstanding customer service to all, and receive orders from customers and representatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain existing customer base and increase customer base monthly.
    • Achieve monthly Sales and Listings targets.
    • Grow customer base by identifying new customers as well as new areas to penetrate.
    • Gather information on market segments, competitor activities, market pricing levels, competitor pricing and strategies.
    • Ensure an informed customer base.
    • Keep abreast of product knowledge and maintain professionalism.
    • Ensure actual sale is done.
    • Meet the agreed targets. Make regular customer calls, dealing with queries timeously and effectively.
    • Develop customers in accordance with company strategy to ensure customer loyalty and to maintain market share.

    Other:

    • Perform any other related duties in the interest of CEMZA as instructed.
    • Work according to Integrated (Environmental and Quality) Management System requirements.
    • Work according to Instructions / Procedures as pertaining to his/her operation function as assigned and abide by all legal (laws/by-laws) requirements / Company Policies and Practices.

    Senior Logistics Controller

    • Do you know what it takes to move thousands of tons of coal on site safely, efficiently and on time? Are you ready to take full control of logistics operations on a high-output mining site?
    • We are seeking a Senior Logistics Controller to lead our on-site logistics operation. This is not just a coordination role it’s the engine room of the mine. You will be at the heart of coal transportation, stockpile management, weighbridge oversight and site logistics, ensuring everything flows seamlessly from pit to dispatch.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage Mine-Site Logistics Operations: From weighbridge accuracy to stockpile coordination, truck dispatch and contractor management.
    • Lead Transport Scheduling & Coordination: Ensure inbound and outbound trucks move to plan, minimising delays and maximising productivity.
    • Keep Coal Moving, Safely & Smartly: Oversee stock handling, prevent degradation or contamination and enforce strict compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
    • Drive Operational Excellence: Utilise SAP and Excel to track loads, reconcile stock and trip data and push for better performance every day.
    • Boost Efficiency, Cut Costs: Identify gaps, close loops and refine processes, this is your stage to improve flow and cut waste.
    • Champion Teamwork & Training: Work closely with transport partners and loaders, while instilling safety-first mindsets across all teams.

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • 5–8 years in mining logistics or bulk material movement, with coal operations experience preferred.
    • Technically Skilled: You know your way around SAP (Or similar ERP), Excel, weighbridge systems and stockpile logistics.
    • Leader: You’ve managed people, processes and contractors and kept production on track under pressure.
    • Detail-Driven: You’re meticulous with numbers, trip sheets, reconciliations and compliance records.
    • Decisive & Tough-Minded: This is a role where strong decisions keep trucks rolling and production targets met.
    • Safety: You lead by example when it comes to environmental care, fire prevention, and zero-harm operations.

    Material Handling Supervisor

    • As a Material Handling Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and effective transportation and storage of materials within the mining site.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of material handlers, ensuring that they adhere to established safety procedures and guidelines
    • Oversee the receiving, storing, and organizing of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient workflow and space utilization
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for material handling and inventory management
    • Collaborate with procurement and purchasing teams to ensure that all materials are ordered and delivered on time, and in accordance with quality standards
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy, and reconcile any discrepancies or variances
    • Monitor and track material usage, consumption and replenishment, and recommend adjustments to inventory levels as needed.
    • Train and mentor material handling staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are properly trained in operating material handling equipment and following safety protocols
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams, such as production, logistics, and quality control, to ensure smooth material flow and timely delivery to meet production schedules
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to streamline material handling operations, reducing costs, and increase efficiency
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to material handling activities, including receiving reports, inventory counts, and material movement records

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Proven experience in material handling or inventory management with at least 3 – 5 years of supervisory experience
    • Certification in material handling equipment operation, such as forklift certification is highly desirable
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines, related to material handling and storage
    • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management and data analysis
    • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and operate material handling equipment
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules or demands
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
