    Control Room Technical Support: Security Systems (Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    • Ensures that the Pep stores security systems in the stores are functioning optimally and are maintained to set standards. 
    • Monitoring of store security systems of Pep in the central inhouse control room. Timely response and reporting of incidents within the Pep store environment. Ensures that the Pep stores security systems are functioning optimally and are maintained to set standards.  Where applicable set up and link to a central inhouse control room to address criminal activity incidents within the store environment in order to decrease losses for Pep.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Monitoring of all  security systems of PEP
    • Assisting alarm and CCTV technicians with remote support on alarms and CCTV systems
    • Add/change alarm and safe pin codes
    • Administration of “in store” safe requirements
    • Fail to close monitoring
    • Fail to open monitoring
    • Updating of department technical tracker sheet 
    • Create work orders on issues not resolved
    • Escalation of technical issues as and when required
    • Auditing of store alarm and cctv programming and setup
    • Conducting basic technical assistance on all store related alarm and CCTV issues
    • Managing relevant technical WhatsApp groups

    Requirements
    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Grade 12
    • PSIRA Grade B
    • 3-5 years experience in a security, technical environment
    • Experience working with Patriot Monitoring Software (or similar monitoring software)
    • Knowledge of Texecom alarm systems working with back end solutions (Wintex, Maintex) 
    • Knowledge of Hikvision systems back end solutions. Remote system programming and  monitoring 
    • Knowledge of Networks and IT (will be an advantage)

    Visual Merchandiser (Centurion)

    Description

    • Providing  Field Dynamos with necessary skills to ensure store visual merchandising standards are met and maintained and in doing so, improve the customer’s experience. To plan, organise, lead, and oversee the field execution of the VM Plan in support of the Sales & company strategy objectives relating to In-store displays, promotional campaigns and Capex project rollouts and monitoring top performing stores in terms of VM standards to ultimately improve store and customer experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Dynamo upskilling, to ensure consistent and high VM standards to enhance the customer experience
    • Prepares and actively participates in Field VM Sales meetings to design and deliver divisional/ regional roll out workshops within each division
    • Ensure implementation of  VM Seasonal Sales plan in top store group
    • Monitor & support implementation of monthly promotional bulletin
    • Support company VM initiatives that drives company strategy
    • Provides support for New store openings (NSO'S)
    • Relationship Management
    • Budget Management
    • Ad hoc tasks

    Requirements
    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • Tertiary qualification in fashion/interior/graphic design
    • Retail Experience
    • 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
    • Store visual merchandising experience will be an advantage
    • Functional knowledge of retail
    • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
    • PC literate (Google Workspace)
    • Training and facilitation skills
    • Creative flair
    • Valid drivers licence
    • Willingness to travel
