    Maintenance Admin Assistant - George

    Job Description    

    • An exciting opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Admin Assistant in our Operations Maintenance Support team. Our ideal candidate will be based in our Tekkie Town Support Centre in George. The Maintenance Admin Assistant would play an important role in providing support to Tekkie Town stores on their general maintenance requirements. Our ideal candidate must be self-motivated, positive, and passionate about performance, a resilient individual who can think laterally and who has strong communication skills.

    Qualifications    

    • Grade 12 Certificate.
    • Code EB license - compulsory.
    • Preferably retail experience (2 years) within a similar role.

    • Arrange window replacements by PG glass for stores
    • Arrange and coordinate contractors for future projects and maintenance.
    • Store Support general maintenance calls, emails, filing, making out orders and preparing payments for finance.
    • Managing quotes, invoices and Purchase Orders from contractors
    • Supports stores by arranging dispatch of various items like vacuums/amps/speakers/lights
    • Arrange pest control for stores/DC warehouses/support centre
    • Assist stores with all signage related issues and queries
    • Update signage reports on a weekly basis
    • Add the correct pay point codes to orders and processing up lifts for payment and processing
    • Candidate must be willing to work as per weekend standby scheduled roster.

    • Experience in conducting stocktakes in a region
    • Experience in conducting admin check in stores with specific exposure to investigations
    • Driver’s License
    • Basic knowledge of Labour Relations Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
    • Basic knowledge of IR principles and processes

    • Pepkor Speciality is seeking to employ a Web Developer who will form part of our eCommerce department.  The primary focus of this position is the maintenance of software that supports the ecommerce platforms.

    Qualifications    

    • Tertiary qualification with a B.Tech or diploma in web development
