    Operations Manager

    • Are you passionate about technology, innovation, and improving asset reliability? We’re looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to take ownership of a small, but growing division focused on developing and delivering cutting-edge APM (Asset Performance Management) services.
    • As the Ops Manager, you’ll lead a small, dedicated team that defines, develops, and implements asset performance management solutions powered by the latest in IoT and digital technologies.
    • This role combines hands-on leadership, technical insight and project management. You’ll be responsible for managing projects, key account management, financials and ensuring we deliver measurable value to our clients.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • A tertiary qualification in project or operations management or a related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years professional experience in a related role.
    • Keen interest in data and software and the way it all comes together.
    • Good and professional communication skills.
    • Technical aptitude would be an advantage.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Lead and grow a team delivering APM and reliability services to clients.
    • Develop and implement APM strategies, tools, and solutions using IoT and data-driven technologies.
    • Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
    • Collaborate across teams to align APM solutions with business objectives and emerging industry trends.
    • Manage business unit (financials, human resources and service delivery).   
    • Manage projects effectively and profitably, as defined in the client proposal, service level agreement (SLA) or project plan.    
    • Client relationship management.   
    • Provide support and fault-finding.    
    • Develop asset management standards aligned with the company methodology

    Reliability Engineer

    • You will work within a wide range of industries in the Private and/ or Public sectors, covering various aspects of asset management. You will be either dedicated to a single client based at the client's site or work from the Pragma head office, servicing multiple clients. You will will be exposed to industry best practices for asset management and reliability engineering, and have access to extensive training material, to help you be the best you can be as a specialist. If you seek a job where you can use your logical and analytical engineering mind to implement creative solutions to optimise your client's asset management system, this role is meant for you.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Industrial/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical).  
    • A certificate in CMRP is advantegous. 
    • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a reliability engineer.
    • A minimum of 3 years of relevant practical experience in the mining industry.
    • Advanced knowledge of asset management and reliability engineering.    
    • Advanced MS Excel application and knowledge.    
    • Exposure and understanding of the Project Management methodology (whether applied or completed in a formal course).  

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Identify opportunities for improving your client's asset management system and utilise a structured problem-solving methodology to implement solutions.    
    • Present asset management training and develop training material and course content.    
    • Identify required reports to measure and improve business processes.    
    • Deliver ad-hoc client support, training and projects.
